The Walking Dead Universe Starter Set is an introduction to the official The Walking Dead Universe roleplaying game, where players try to survive in a dangerous world. Threats come from a lack of essential supplies, tensions within the group, weaknesses in the shelter, and approaching walkers. The rules are based on the Year Zero Engine and adapted to the game’s universe.

The set includes a 40-page condensed rulebook and the 16-page booklet “The Wolves’ Den,” featuring the first full-length scenario in survival mode. It also includes six pre-generated characters, including Carol, Gabriel, Glenn, and Michonne from the TV series, as well as a threat tracker for the walkers in the area.
