Excellent performance and very fast file transfers. I mainly use it to store photos and videos, and it has been reliable and efficient so far. The transfer speeds are impressive, making it quick and easy to move large files. It works flawlessly when connected to both my computer and TV, with smooth access to all my media. Overall, I am very satisfied with its performance and would definitely recommend it as a dependable external hard drive.

At 2TB, two different drives, both broke down. Although they were replaced under warranty, the data was of course lost, with all that this entails.

Excellent drive! I got it to give my Mac Mini some breathing room as it was running out of space. I wanted something ready-to-use and reliable with Type-C (and not solutions with enclosures for the Mac Mini) and this particular Kingston proved to be perfect.

I've been using it every day for 5 months now. It’s so fast that I run projects directly from it, while also storing files at the same time. Very convenient size for transport and doesn’t take up space on the desk. If you’re looking for something reliable and fast, get it with your eyes closed.

I bought it! Perfect! It doesn't overheat, nor is it very slow... it's lightweight and just right. The only reason I deduct one star is that, when you want to transfer a large file or just put it on this drive, its speed drops. Of course, it's not only the drive's fault. Even it can reach at most 600-700 mb/s, even though I have a gaming computer... 1000 euros! (But I'm satisfied with it)!

Excellent, everything you need to have with you. I have it almost permanently connected to my macbook and I run image or video editing files directly. It gets slightly warm, but it's not a problem. Satisfied

For use on PS5 it connected immediately, I formatted it and it worked right away without any problem. You can store PS5 games and download them from there to the console if you want to use them. PS4 games can be played directly from there.

I haven't used the drive much, it's light and so small, almost unnoticeable in the space. I hope it is reliable and will last over time!

Amazing SSD drive. I use it for my xbox series s and it works perfectly. It's so fast for example i moved red dead redemption 2 (which is a 123GB game) in 5 minutes. I highly recommend it if you want a fast, cheap and reliable storage drive.

Very good drive, The speed is about 700 Mb per second in transfer from internal m2. Be careful to connect it to the fastest USB port of your computer, I have it on 20G but I imagine it will have similar speeds on 10 Gigabit as well. Of course, the drive (from or to) that the transfer is being made must have corresponding speed.

Excellent drive AS LONG AS it is connected to the correct port to "catch" its nominal speeds! This is for those who complain about the write and read speeds!! Of course, as the free space decreases, the write speed also drops, but not the read speed!! In the screenshots, you can see speeds with the entire drive space free (1st photo), and speeds with 60% used (2nd photo). I should note that in the screenshots, you see the speeds of the drive connected to a USB 3.2 Gen2 port! Small in size and can be easily transported anywhere! Highly RECOMMENDED!!

I probably got a defective one... the disk was dragging!!! And it's an SSD, neither read speed, nor write. And it was tested on the correct port of course..

I have had it for two months, and I also have a Samsung T7. I use them with a MacBook. Both are very good and equally fast. The connection to the computer plays a big role in speed, whether it is direct or through a hub, etc. In heavy use, copying 50, 100, 200 GB, both heat up.
Compared to the theoretically faster Kingston XS2000, before you spend the extra money, make sure that the port on your computer that you will connect it to supports these speeds.
