The collection of flute duets spans all eras of music history, starting from Jacopo da Bologna to Tchaikovsky. To make the volume more comprehensive, the editor added the arrangement for two flutes of some popular melodies from operas and organ pieces, such as the variations from 'Don Giovanni' and 'Carmen', as well as the arrangement of the nocturne from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Well-known and lesser-known melodies, fugues, dances, and character pieces provide the opportunity for enjoyable and high-level musical creation.
