If you listen to music at low to medium volume, this little speaker is worth every penny. Clean, warm sound with full bass and clear treble, minimal distortion when you crank it up, a compact, solid feel in the hand, pleasantly tactile buttons, and generally a sense of quality in the design and build. A few days earlier I had bought a JBL Flip 7 for my daughter for 109 euros and, without being able to predict the future in terms of the durability and reliability of the two speakers, I like the sound of the Xiaomi more; it is probably more balanced. I do see some superiority in the JBL at maximum volume, where it seems to distort less, but its bass is definitely more "dead" across the entire volume range. I should note here that I use an equalizer app on my phone, which I consider essential for the speakers to bring out all their capabilities; the comparison between the two speakers is with the same settings. In short, if you're wondering which of the two to get, buy two Xiaomis with your money, give one to someone so they can thank you for as long as they use it, and spend the 30+ euros you'll have left over on popcorn.

Decent sound for the price, coming from a JBL FLIP 4. Unfortunately, after a little while of use I noticed that at times the sound was more bass-heavy and then the treble would come back. I opened it up and saw that the cable was not soldered onto the speaker, so sometimes it made contact and sometimes it didn’t. Anyway, I fixed it myself and all is well.

At low frequencies, sometimes I think it loses some clarity. Especially in podcasts, this can be noticeable. Also, it bothers me that when it turns on and off it makes such a loud sound (sometimes a bit too much). Otherwise, very good. A plus is that you can pair it if you buy the same speaker again

I've had it for about a month, it's early for a full review, maybe I'll update in the future if anything changes. For now, I've managed to annoy all my neighbors, which means the speaker is awesome, it's very loud and the battery lasts quite a while. I mainly listen to metal and it performs very well.

The bass and the lows in general for its price are very good. Not perfect though. And this trade-off is evident in the higher frequencies where the sound is not the clearest. It's a bit "muddy."

We often say "very good for its money," implying "for the money you paid, don't ask for much... or it's not JBL." This is not the case here. Being demanding about sound quality and having worked with various portable speakers, I have to say that this one, in terms of build and sound quality, is worth more than double the approximately €35 I paid. It doesn't have the deep bass of the larger JBLs but easily competes with the smaller ones in its category, which cost much more. Clear sound, very good bass, trouble-free battery life and connectivity, very good build quality. The only thing I would want more for noisy outdoor spaces is a bit more volume, although in 95% of cases it's enough. See the link for a comparison with the corresponding JBL FLIP models, where it has a similar or higher rating and, while in the sound quality chart it's better than all the JBLs in the comparison, it loses points for battery life.....

Συχνά λέμε "πολύ καλό για τα λεφτά του", υπονοώντας "για τα χρήματα που έδωσες μη ζητάς και πολλά... ή δεν είναι και JBL". Εδώ δεν ισχύει αυτό. Όντας απαιτητικός στην ποιότητα του ήχου και έχοντας δουλέψει με διάφορα φορητά ηχεία, έχω να πω ότι αυτό εδώ, από ποιότητα κατασκευής και ήχου αξίζει υπερδιπλάσια από τα 35€ περίπου που έδωσα. Δεν έχει το βαθύ μπάσο των μεγάλων JBL αλλά συναγωνίζεται άνετα τα μικρότερα της κατηγορίας του, με πολλαπλάσια τιμή. Καθαρός ήχος, πολύ καλό μπάσο, απροβλημάτιστη διάρκεια μπαταρίας και συνδεσιμότητα, πολύ καλή ποιότητα κατασκευής. Το μόνο που θα ήθελα περισσότερο για εξωτερικούς θορυβώδεις χώρους, λίγο μεγαλύτερη ένταση, αν και στο 95% των περιπτώσεων είναι αρκετή. Δείτε στο link τη σύγκριση με τα αντίστοιχα μοντέλα FLIP της JBL, όπου έχει παρόμοια ή μεγαλύτερη βαθμολογία και ενώ στο διάγραμμα της ποιότητας ήχου είναι καλύτερο από όλα τα JBL της σύγκρισης, χάνει μονάδες από την μπαταρία.....

Maybe there are more powerful ones, but there's no point, it's powerful enough to listen to your music without disturbing others 20 meters away on the beach. At 10 meters, they will hear you just fine. On the PC, it's at the limit of being comfortably loud. It's as powerful as it needs to be for the job it's intended for.
If you want to throw a party, OK, spend 200-300 and get a big one, or connect 4-5 of these together. But if you want it for a walk, home, beach, boat, etc., it's perfect. And if you consider the price, there's nothing to compare it with. (Over time we'll see, I bought 2 two months ago, I haven't seen any problems yet, although I haven't taken it to the sea yet.)

Ίσως υπάρχουν πιο δυνατά, αλλά δεν έχει και νόημα, είναι αρκετά δυνατό να ακούσεις τη μουσική σου, χωρίς να ενοχλείς στα 20 μέτρα τους άλλους στην παραλία. Στα 10 θα σε ακούσουν μια χαρά. Στο PC δε, είναι στα όρια να το ακούς με άνεση δυνατά. Είναι όσο δυνατό χρειάζεται για τη δουλειά που προορίζεται.
Αν θες να κάνεις πάρτυ, ΟΚ, δώσε 200-300 και πάρε ένα μεγάλο, η σύνδεσε 4-5 από αυτά μαζί. Αλλά αν θες για βόλτα, σπίτι, παραλία, βάρκα, κλπ, είναι τέλειο. Και αν σκεφτείς και την τιμή, δεν υπάρχει κάτι να το συγκρίνεις. (Σε βάθος χρόνου θα δείξει, πήρα 2 πριν ένα δίμηνο, ακόμα δεν έχω δει προβλήματα, αν και δεν το έχω βάλει ακόμα στη θάλασσα. )

If you listen to music at low to medium volume, this little speaker is worth every penny. Clean, warm sound with full bass and clear treble, minimal distortion when you crank it up, a compact, solid feel in the hand, pleasantly tactile buttons, and generally a sense of quality in the design and build. A few days earlier I had bought a JBL Flip 7 for my daughter for 109 euros and, without being able to predict the future in terms of the durability and reliability of the two speakers, I like the sound of the Xiaomi more; it is probably more balanced. I do see some superiority in the JBL at maximum volume, where it seems to distort less, but its bass is definitely more "dead" across the entire volume range. I should note here that I use an equalizer app on my phone, which I consider essential for the speakers to bring out all their capabilities; the comparison between the two speakers is with the same settings. In short, if you're wondering which of the two to get, buy two Xiaomis with your money, give one to someone so they can thank you for as long as they use it, and spend the 30+ euros you'll have left over on popcorn.

Decent sound for the price, coming from a JBL FLIP 4. Unfortunately, after a little while of use I noticed that at times the sound was more bass-heavy and then the treble would come back. I opened it up and saw that the cable was not soldered onto the speaker, so sometimes it made contact and sometimes it didn’t. Anyway, I fixed it myself and all is well.

At low frequencies, sometimes I think it loses some clarity. Especially in podcasts, this can be noticeable. Also, it bothers me that when it turns on and off it makes such a loud sound (sometimes a bit too much). Otherwise, very good. A plus is that you can pair it if you buy the same speaker again

I've had it for about a month, it's early for a full review, maybe I'll update in the future if anything changes. For now, I've managed to annoy all my neighbors, which means the speaker is awesome, it's very loud and the battery lasts quite a while. I mainly listen to metal and it performs very well.

The bass and the lows in general for its price are very good. Not perfect though. And this trade-off is evident in the higher frequencies where the sound is not the clearest. It's a bit "muddy."

We often say "very good for its money," implying "for the money you paid, don't ask for much... or it's not JBL." This is not the case here. Being demanding about sound quality and having worked with various portable speakers, I have to say that this one, in terms of build and sound quality, is worth more than double the approximately €35 I paid. It doesn't have the deep bass of the larger JBLs but easily competes with the smaller ones in its category, which cost much more. Clear sound, very good bass, trouble-free battery life and connectivity, very good build quality. The only thing I would want more for noisy outdoor spaces is a bit more volume, although in 95% of cases it's enough. See the link for a comparison with the corresponding JBL FLIP models, where it has a similar or higher rating and, while in the sound quality chart it's better than all the JBLs in the comparison, it loses points for battery life.....

Συχνά λέμε "πολύ καλό για τα λεφτά του", υπονοώντας "για τα χρήματα που έδωσες μη ζητάς και πολλά... ή δεν είναι και JBL". Εδώ δεν ισχύει αυτό. Όντας απαιτητικός στην ποιότητα του ήχου και έχοντας δουλέψει με διάφορα φορητά ηχεία, έχω να πω ότι αυτό εδώ, από ποιότητα κατασκευής και ήχου αξίζει υπερδιπλάσια από τα 35€ περίπου που έδωσα. Δεν έχει το βαθύ μπάσο των μεγάλων JBL αλλά συναγωνίζεται άνετα τα μικρότερα της κατηγορίας του, με πολλαπλάσια τιμή. Καθαρός ήχος, πολύ καλό μπάσο, απροβλημάτιστη διάρκεια μπαταρίας και συνδεσιμότητα, πολύ καλή ποιότητα κατασκευής. Το μόνο που θα ήθελα περισσότερο για εξωτερικούς θορυβώδεις χώρους, λίγο μεγαλύτερη ένταση, αν και στο 95% των περιπτώσεων είναι αρκετή. Δείτε στο link τη σύγκριση με τα αντίστοιχα μοντέλα FLIP της JBL, όπου έχει παρόμοια ή μεγαλύτερη βαθμολογία και ενώ στο διάγραμμα της ποιότητας ήχου είναι καλύτερο από όλα τα JBL της σύγκρισης, χάνει μονάδες από την μπαταρία.....

Maybe there are more powerful ones, but there's no point, it's powerful enough to listen to your music without disturbing others 20 meters away on the beach. At 10 meters, they will hear you just fine. On the PC, it's at the limit of being comfortably loud. It's as powerful as it needs to be for the job it's intended for.
If you want to throw a party, OK, spend 200-300 and get a big one, or connect 4-5 of these together. But if you want it for a walk, home, beach, boat, etc., it's perfect. And if you consider the price, there's nothing to compare it with. (Over time we'll see, I bought 2 two months ago, I haven't seen any problems yet, although I haven't taken it to the sea yet.)

Ίσως υπάρχουν πιο δυνατά, αλλά δεν έχει και νόημα, είναι αρκετά δυνατό να ακούσεις τη μουσική σου, χωρίς να ενοχλείς στα 20 μέτρα τους άλλους στην παραλία. Στα 10 θα σε ακούσουν μια χαρά. Στο PC δε, είναι στα όρια να το ακούς με άνεση δυνατά. Είναι όσο δυνατό χρειάζεται για τη δουλειά που προορίζεται.
Αν θες να κάνεις πάρτυ, ΟΚ, δώσε 200-300 και πάρε ένα μεγάλο, η σύνδεσε 4-5 από αυτά μαζί. Αλλά αν θες για βόλτα, σπίτι, παραλία, βάρκα, κλπ, είναι τέλειο. Και αν σκεφτείς και την τιμή, δεν υπάρχει κάτι να το συγκρίνεις. (Σε βάθος χρόνου θα δείξει, πήρα 2 πριν ένα δίμηνο, ακόμα δεν έχω δει προβλήματα, αν και δεν το έχω βάλει ακόμα στη θάλασσα. )
