Description

The AQARA P2 motion and brightness sensor is a battery-powered multi-sensor compatible with the Thread protocol and the Matter standard. This sensor is a significant addition to creating a safe environment at home.

In addition to detecting motion state changes, it also has a light sensor that measures light intensity in LUX and displays the values in the app. Automations can be created for the motion sensor state and for exceeding light level thresholds.

The sensor operates with two CR2450 batteries, which are provided by the manufacturer. With average use, the battery life is up to 2 years. A Thread hub is required for the device to function. From the AQARA range, the AQARA Hub M3 is the suitable choice.

Adjust the viewing angle of the sensor according to your needs. With a very wide detection angle (170° up to 7 meters), the 360° adjustable base allows you to customize the detection angle to detect motion only in the areas you desire. It sends immediate notifications if an intrusion or motion is detected.

It can be installed anywhere without tools. You can easily install the base by sticking it to a horizontal or vertical surface.
