There is no "memory" of the house saved in the vacuum as far as I can tell, so each time it learns the room plan from scratch. Due to this, it does not always understand to go everywhere in the house - small nooks are left unattended if one doesn't fit to the manual mode. After swithing back to automatic from manual mode, the cleaner has forgotten the previous cleaning map and starts all over again. So it is not super smart... for me it does the job, which is gets rid of most of the hair and kitty litter on the floor out there by my two cats,

After swithing back to automatic from manual mode, the cleaner has forgotten the previous cleaning map and starts all over again.
