Description

CrystalClear Images with UltraWide QHD 3440 x 1440 pixels

These Philips monitors deliver CrystalClear, UltraWide Quad HD 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution images. Utilizing high-performance panels with high-density pixel count, wide viewing angles of 178/178, these new monitors will bring your images and graphics to life. The UltraWide 21:9 format allows for greater productivity with more room for side-by-side comparisons and the ability to view more columns in spreadsheets. Whether you need detailed information for professional CAD-CAM solutions or work with large spreadsheets, Philips monitors offer crystal-clear images.

DisplayHDR™ TrueBlack 400 delivers incredible shadow detail

This Philips monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400. It delivers stunningly detailed accuracy in shading, with deeper blacks, for an impressive visual experience compared to conventional monitors with the same peak brightness. This Philips monitor features several HDR modes, each optimized for different usage scenarios: HDR Game, HDR Movie, HDR Photo, and VESA DisplayHDR certification.

Curved screen design for a more immersive experience

Curved design monitors offer a unique user experience. The curved screen provides pleasant and subtle effects that captivate you and draw your attention to the center of the screen.

QD OLED for top-notch colors and vibrant graphics

QD OLED technology is a hybrid approach that combines OLED displays with quantum dot technology. By combining the best features of both, QD OLED technology guarantees high contrast, deep blacks, and unlimited viewing angles, with the highest brightness and the most vibrant colors.

Ultra Wide-Color for a wider range of colors and more vivid images

Ultra Wide-Color technology offers a wider color gamut for brighter images. The larger color gamut of Ultra Wide-Color produces more natural greens, vivid reds, and deep blues. Bring your entertainment and photos to life and boost your productivity with the vibrant colors of Ultra Wide-Color technology.

VESA ClearMR 9000: For top-quality images

In the past, methods for controlling screen blur were measured through MRPT. The VESA-certified ClearMR technology is an alternative to MRPT, in which blur is examined with a high-speed digital camera. For monitors that are shipped and certified through VESA-certified ClearMR, you can be sure that you will have an accurate assessment of the screen's blur quality. Each certification is defined through a CMR range, with the highest level being VESA ClearMR 9000. This particular monitor features ClearMR 9000 certification, one of the highest in the market for image quality, which means overall less blur.

SmartImage Game Mode optimized for gamers

In Philips' new gaming monitor, the quick access OSD is fine-tuned for gamers. The "FPS" (first person shooting) mode enhances dark themes in games, allowing you to see hidden objects in dark areas. The "Racing" mode adjusts the screen for faster response times, vibrant colors, and image adjustments. The "RTS" (Real-Time Strategy) mode features a special SmartFrame function that allows you to highlight specific areas and make size and image adjustments. With the Gamer 1 and Gamer 2 modes, you can save your personal settings based on different games, ensuring better performance.

Smart Sight: For Better Aim and More Fun

The color of the crosshair is set by default. When enabled, the color will change according to the background color. The Smart Crosshair improves your aim to spot enemies more easily.

Ambiglow with AI technology: for enhanced entertainment

Our AI-powered processor analyzes the incoming image content and continuously adjusts the color and brightness of the emitted light to match the image. This feature adds a new dimension to the viewing experience. The innovative Ambiglow technology, through AI technology, has the capability to create a truly immersive and customizable gaming experience. Whether you want to add color to the room where you play games or wish to be transported to the heart of the game, the Ambiglow feature with AI technology is designed to offer you the best gaming experience you've ever had, combining intelligence, color, and light.

MultiView technology allows simultaneous dual connection and display

The Philips MultiView monitor with ultra-high resolution gives you many connectivity options. MultiView allows active dual connect and view so you can work on multiple devices, such as a PC and notebook simultaneously, for complex multi-tasking.

Evnia Precision Center: Maximize Your Gaming Experience

Evnia Precision Center is an easy-to-use software designed to optimize and personalize your Evnia monitor. Whether you are a casual gamer or a competitive player, it offers a wide range of customization options to match your unique gaming style. With intuitive controls and seamless navigation, Evnia Precision Center gives you full control, providing everything you need to take your gaming to the next level — right at your fingertips.

Dynamic Lighting: Synchronized lighting across all devices.

This feature is a Microsoft certification program that allows Windows 11 users to synchronize and manage the RGB lighting of all their monitors and peripherals from a single menu. By doing so, the Dynamic Lighting feature creates a comprehensive RGB lighting system with Philips Evnia Ambiglow across all devices, ultimately providing a customizable user experience.

Protects and cools QD-OLED monitors to reduce burn-in

Burn-in is a real problem for QD-OLED monitor users. To increase the lifespan of your screen, this model features a built-in graphene coating that keeps the display cool. Graphene distributes the heat generated by the blue light emitted from your screen evenly and cools more efficiently than graphite. For gamers, this means you can play at your preferred brightness level with reduced risk of burn-in and a screen that stays ideal for a longer period of time.

AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro: smooth HDR gaming with low latency

Game instability and broken frames are not suitable for gaming. AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro technology delivers the true HDR gaming experience: a combination of smooth gameplay with top performance and exceptional high dynamic range graphics, without increasing latency.

As for the image, it was as if I was blind and found my light; there is no comparison with IPS or VA panels, the difference is so big that whether you know about monitors or not, you look at it and say "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING," I'm thinking of retiring my second screen because I just can't look at it next to the OLED anymore. It's punchy, it's fast, and overall it's flawless in terms of image quality. 10 out of 10

    Now for the negatives:
    1) The ambiglow is at least buggy and in no way works like the ambilight of Philips TVs, even the Govee T1 I have on my TV does a better job. (If someone from Philips is reading this review, just fix it and send it via firmware update, the hardware is there, the software needs some work, it's really a shame it doesn't work properly)

    2) Mediocre finish, which I can justify as they had to cut costs somewhere to sell OLED at this price.

    General observations

    1) It needs a rather deep desk, on a narrow one it comes too far forward
    2) For 10bit color it needs to be at 144hz and not at 175hz
    3) Don't forget to download the color profile from the site

That's about it, I don't deduct a star for the negatives since the first can be fixed with a firmware update and the second is expected so that it doesn't cost 650+ like its competition

P.S. I won't post a photo, it would be unfair, my camera can't capture how good the image really is.

Transition from 34' VA to OLED. Practically the same panel as Samsung/Alienware/AOC of the corresponding generation. The difference in image quality is extreme, there is no going back to anything else. The only problem, and the reason one star is removed, is its stand. It makes the monitor stick out too much (so it's annoying for a narrow desk) and even if you use a monitor arm, you have to attach it to the extra mount they provide. This will definitely cause a tilt problem due to the weight, and it will also protrude more than necessary. Overall, however, due to OLED and the price difference with all the corresponding monitors, I consider it an excellent deal.

The colors are amazing... when I first saw it, since I had no experience with OLED, I was really shocked... it is perhaps the best purchase I've made (and I've made quite a few...) because I truly felt like I saw something unprecedented... now I understand what people mean when they say there's no going back from OLED..
