The Venus Optics Laowa 6mm f/2 Zero-D is an ultra-wide-angle prime lens with a Micro Four Thirds mount and an optical design that reduces distortion to almost zero. Its 121.9° angle of view and f/2 aperture make it suitable for landscape, cityscape, architectural and astrophotography, while the bright aperture allows shooting in low-light conditions. Manual focusing lets you capture close-up subjects from a distance of 9 cm.
The optical system consists of 13 elements in 9 groups, including 2 aspherical elements. The 5-blade aperture creates 10-point starbursts around point light sources. Electronic contacts allow aperture adjustment from the camera body, as well as EXIF data recording and use of semi-automatic modes.
