    From the first day, I realized that it cleans stones to a great extent, odor, etc. After 6 months of use (minimal for 2 people), I changed it today, 03/01/24. It held a lot of dirt, kids, I found mud and rust, maybe together. Without the filter, the refrigerator's water dispenser would fill with stones, sand, and a slight greenish/gooey substance within a week.
