Sweet broad-leaf rocket seeds produce plants with large green leaves and wavy edges, reaching 20–30 cm in height. Rocket has a spicy, peppery flavour with slightly nutty notes. It can be eaten raw in salads, sandwiches and wraps, or used in soups, stews and pesto. It prefers a cool climate and grows well in well-drained soil rich in organic matter.
