I am very satisfied! It is totally worth buying. You can make any drink you want, even mixed juices. The best part: it washes itself!!!!

Another unusual product, another review, and this device here is the Rohnson R-5901 plant milk maker!
What does that mean? You put in nuts or whatever else it accepts, and in 10-20 minutes you have fresh plant milk at home. It is definitely a very special and unusual device that, from what I searched, there is nothing similar on the market.
Let's get to know it first, see what it does, how it performed, and whether it’s worth it!

    First acquaintance
Inside the box is the device with the large touchscreen on the front for the dozens of options and preparation combinations.
At the top, the airtight lid opens where the preparation container with the five-blade system is located.
Below the touchscreen, the 1.2-liter jug sits on the straining base. At the back, there is a removable water container with a capacity of also 1.2 liters.
Inside the package, there is also a small measuring cup, a brush for cleaning the container, and the user manual with recipes.

    Tests
What is the rationale and capabilities of the Rohnson R-5901? You use it to make plant milks at home from nuts and more. And obviously, it’s more economical.
For many years now, plant milk has become increasingly popular, and many prefer it, whether they follow a vegetarian diet or not.
The options include drinks made from oats, soy, cashews, almonds, and various combinations of other nuts. It also has the ability to make porridge and juice.
Besides the cost, which is important, you have complete control over what your drink contains. Without preservatives and with whatever sweetener, flavor, or additions you want, or even the consistency, how thin or thick it will be.
The ingredients go into the container, the amount of water you choose is added, they are heated, blended under pressure, and the drink comes out. There are 4 quantity options at 300, 600, 900, and 1200ml.
Most drinks, due to the lack of preservatives, should be consumed immediately or kept in the fridge for up to 24 hours, although they were fine 2-3 days later.
    What did I make?
Oat milk: 100 grams of oats for 1000 ml of drink. It was ready in 15 minutes.
Cost of oat drink in stores: €3 per liter.
Cost with the R-5901: 1kg of oats costs €6, so 100g costs €0.60 per liter.
Almond milk: 100 grams of almonds for 1 liter of drink. It was ready in 15 minutes.
Cost of almond drink in stores: €3 per liter.
Cost with the R-5901: Average price for 100g of almonds from a nut store or packaged in stores is €1.10, so €1.10 per liter.
Cashew milk: 100 grams of cashews for 1000 ml of drink. It was ready in 15 minutes.
Cost of cashew drink in stores: €3-4 per liter.
Cost with the R-5901: Average price for 100g of cashews from a nut store or packaged in stores is €1.70, so €1.70 per liter.
Juice: I put in oat milk, banana, and mango and turned it into a smoothie.
I also made carrot juice according to the instructions; it came out similar to a juicer but with slightly more pulp, walnut milk, and almond milk with cocoa.
I also did some extra tests with some nuts and slightly increased their quantity while keeping the water constant to make it a bit thicker and tastier.
So, it may not be more economical with all the nuts or ingredients, but it is definitely healthier and more controlled.
In its very positive aspects, every time I made a drink, I didn't need to clean it even once. It self-cleans exceptionally and surprisingly well. And mainly, it comes out liquid after cleaning, which means the device uses almost all the material you add, without leaving any pulp or bits.

    Final Impressions
First, I should say that I am not at all in the target group for this particular device. I do not use plant-based milks and drinks. I barely add regular milk to my breakfast with cereal once in a while.
It is clear that at around €220, the Rohnson R-9501 plant-based drink maker is not for me or for everyone. I would assume it mainly targets vegans, vegetarians, and those who consume or use large amounts of plant milk in their diet.
Of course, there are various alternative ways to make plant milk at home, such as in a multi-cooker or blender and then in some cheesecloth (that fabric like gauze used to make cheese) or with a slow juicer. Most methods require soaking the ingredients, etc., so they are obviously more time-consuming and more of a hassle.
Is it recommended for those who fall into the categories I mentioned above? I believe that in the long run, they will also have economic benefits and will be able to more easily than they are used to make these types of drinks and experiment with new recipes.

This specific product does exactly what it is advertised to do. I'm still testing it, of course, so I will come back with an update to the review, but so far I am very satisfied. Besides almond milk and all kinds of nuts, it also makes smoothies and juices just like a blender. Once the drink is finished, it has a self-cleaning function (really very convenient). It also makes porridge, and in general, there is no limit to what you can make; it just requires imagination. It could have a slightly better price. On the positive side, it is very cost-effective. With 18 grams, for example, of nuts, you can easily make a 300ml glass of milk.

  • Another unusual product, another review, and this device here is the Rohnson R-5901 plant milk maker!

  • This specific product does exactly what it is advertised to do.
