The photoelectric sensors of the Gxx series are general-purpose switches used in mechanical systems and equipment for non-contact movement monitoring of objects. They operate based on the photoelectric principle – within the sensor, there is an emitter of photo signals and a receiver of the returned signal. There are three types of sensors: diffuse sensors, retro-reflective sensors, and through-beam sensors. These types differ in the method of signal return.
