The photoelectric sensors of the Gxx series are general-purpose switches used in mechanical systems and equipment for non-contact motion detection of objects. They rely on the photoelectric principle of operation, where the sensor contains a light emitter and a receiver of the returned signal.

There are three types of sensors:

• Diffractive sensors
• Mirror sensors
• Emitter-receiver sensors

These sensors differ in signal return and allow for adjustment of the activation distance. They are developed based on PNP and NPN processes.
