Tight Regular Loose
Two years ago, I bought the same model of shoes, from the same company, CLARKS, and in the same size, but in brown. I was satisfied, so I decided to buy them in black as well. BIG MISTAKE!
Reliability, apparently, doesn't mean much today when the productions of European (?) companies are made in the Chinese factory that offers them the cheapest deal. As a result, from season to season, their quality varies. Because these shoes have nothing to do with the ones I bought just 2 years earlier.
First of all, the same size is surprisingly too big for me (!). This is because they have thinned both the leather and the lining of the shoe significantly.
Secondly, the insole is of much lower quality, with no side support, resulting in discomfort if worn for many hours.
And finally, the quality of the leather is not only lower but also inconsistent (!!) between the right and left shoe, with the left one having broken in several places within just a few weeks.
It's a shame because until recently I considered CLARKS a reliable and honest company.
Πριν 2 χρόνια είχα αγοράσει το ίδιο μοντέλο παπουτσιών, της ίδιας εταιρείας, CLARKS, και στο ίδιο νούμερο, αλλά σε καφέ. Είχα μείνει ευχαριστημένος, και έτσι αποφάσισα να αγοράσω και σε μαύρο. BIG MISTAKE!
H αξιοπιστία, προφανώς, δεν σημαίνει και πολλά σήμερα που οι παραγωγές Ευρωπαϊκών(;) εταιρειών γίνονται στο Κινέζικο εργοστάσιο που θα τους δώσει την πιο φτηνή προσφορά. Με αποτέλεσμα από σεζόν σε σεζόν η ποιότητά τους να μεταβάλλεται. Γιατί αυτά τα παπούτσια δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με εκείνα που είχα αγοράσει μόλις 2 χρόνια παλιότερα.
Καταρχήν το ίδιο νούμερο παραδόξως μου είναι μεγάλο(!). Κι αυτό γιατί έχουν λεπτύνει πολύ και το δέρμα αλλά και την επένδυση του παπουτσιού.
Δεύτερον, η εσωτερική σόλα είναι πολύ χαμηλότερης ποιότητας, χωρίς πλαϊνή υποστήριξη, με αποτέλεσμα να κουράζουν στον πόδι αν τα φορά για πολλές ώρες.
Και, τέλος, η ποιότητα του δέρματος δεν είναι απλώς χαμηλότερη, αλλά και ανόμοια(!!) μεταξύ του δεξιού και του αριστερού παπουτσιού, με το αριστερό να έχει σπάσει σε πολλά σημεία μέσα σε μόλις λίγες εβδομάδες.
Κρίμα, γιατί μέχρι πρόσφατα θεωρούσα την CLARKS αξιόπιστη και τίμια εταιρία.
