This is the world’s first record released as an EcoRecord LP weighing 140g, with each copy produced from 9 recycled PET plastic bottles recovered from used waste. This will prevent the production of over 25 tons of virgin plastic and provide an 85% reduction in CO2 emissions during the production process per kilogram compared to traditional 140g vinyl records.

Additionally, the band has collaborated with their long-time partners, The Ocean Cleanup, to create an additional edition: the Notebook Edition EcoRecord LP. The rPET for this edition consists of 70% plastic recovered from a river, which was collected by The Ocean Cleanup from the Rio Las Vacas, Guatemala, and prevented from reaching the Gulf of Honduras and the Atlantic Ocean.
