Kazimir Malevich is today considered one of those painters who have been called pioneers because they proposed new views on art, completely different from those that prevailed and were accepted by most artists of their time. After completing his studies in painting, he participated with his paintings in many exhibitions of young artists, and over time, influenced by the works of the pioneering artists of his era, he formed the view that what matters in a work of art is not its content but its form. In other words, it does not matter what a painting depicts, but in what form it depicts it. For this reason, his paintings feature compositions of geometric shapes and colors.

  • It is a book that combines mathematical thinking with the visual arts.
It is very well structured with clear writing and apt illustrations from works of art.
I recommend it to art teachers as a guide mainly for elementary school classes, as well as to children who love to learn, are interested in sciences and arts.
It is aimed at children aged 9-12, but in my opinion, there is no limitation since the material can also be developed for older children.
