Description
The new combined performance of the 102MP sensor and the X-Processor 5 image processor of the GFX100 II provides stunning performance. Improvements in autofocus algorithms, with the integration of internal subject detection via artificial intelligence, allow photographers and filmmakers to create 102MP images at up to 8 frames per second. The camera can record 4K/60p video at the full width of the 55mm image sensor.
An updated 9.44-million-dot electronic viewfinder with live view at 120fps and 5.3 frames per second helps photographers stay close to the action. The internal image stabilization provides up to 8 stops of stability for creating exceptional images.
The GFX100 II uses a 55mm diagonal image sensor, offering an area approximately 1.7 times larger than a full-frame 35mm sensor. It supports internal recording in 4:2:2, 10-bit Apple ProRes and HDMI output for 12-bit 4:2:2 Apple ProRes RAW or Blackmagic RAW at resolutions up to 8K/30p.
With a GF to PL adapter, filmmakers can use the 55mm sensor with legendary cinema lenses. The GFX100 II offers two different high-resolution modes for recording 35mm Anamorphic with in-camera de-squeeze monitoring options.
It integrates Frame.io for direct file transfer to the Cloud. It uses built-in Wi-Fi or Ethernet LAN connection for delivering high-resolution images and videos directly to the Cloud. With updated video functions leading to simple post-production workflows, the GFX100 II makes it easier for creators to realize their ideas faster.
The physical video functions include subject-priority autofocus and direct recording to SSD. The support for IDT for the Academy Color Encoding System (ACES) brings the GFX system products into the world of motion.
