On one side it connects to the faucet and on the other side to the quick connectors. The quick connectors connect to the automatic watering pipes or the watering hose. In case there is a faucet programmer, the hose connector is installed after the programmer. The programmer screws onto the faucet, then connects to the hose connector followed by the quick connector.
