The Wiesenfield beekeeping cage provides a nesting space for small bee colonies. The bees can easily maintain the temperature inside, keeping the population warm. Due to the limited number of frames, less bee material is required compared to a standard hive. The hive hosts five Langstroth frames. If the colony grows, the bees can be simply transferred to a suitable hive. It is made of durable plastic (polypropylene). The 4 mm thick material ensures excellent insulation of the interior, measuring 46.5 x 18 x 26.8 cm, against cold and external weather influences.
