The second shoe of Jayson Tatum, the Tatum 2, is rooted in the movement and emotion that underpin Jordan Brand's approach to basketball shoe design.
It features a full-length Nike Air Strobel unit, which helps absorb impacts from explosive movements.
The large foam and fabric bases define the aesthetic of the Tatum 2, which harkens back to the bold and fun spirit of '90s basketball shoes.
The Tatum logo and number appear on the back of the shoe. Additionally, the shoe features the phrases "Find a Way," which is connected to his belief in overcoming obstacles, and "Like Father, Like Son," which refers to his relationship with his son, Deuce.
"For me, this second shoe represents evolution and how much I have grown as a player," says Tatum. "I am always building my skills so that I can be better than I was yesterday. I hope consumers appreciate how much we have put into this."
The frame wraps under the sole, rises high on the upper part, and keeps the foot low to the ground, supporting the way you play.
You are constantly on the move when you are on the court. The rubber outsole and the foam that comes into contact with the ground ensure high responsiveness and traction, no matter what position you play.
Every time you jump wearing a lightweight shoe, you save energy. Rubber was used on the outsole (in the areas where you need it most), as well as foam that offers excellent traction.

In recent years, Tatum has led his team to the top spot in the regular season.
