Trash. It's that simple. I have cameras for different uses and both the 12 and the 13 are a waste of money. Like the 10 and 11 for their time, there hasn't been a good camera again. Today, GoPro is the worst choice and is a trap for every new owner because its strong name from the times when it had no competition literally gives the impression that it is still worth the money. Stay away!

A camera that in the year 2026 with such a big name cannot take decent night videos and photos. It is my first action camera. I thought I had bought a guaranteed brand but I was wrong. I was simply embarrassed when we compared our cameras with a friend during a walk. He had a two-year-old DJI model. The GoPro is amazing for shots at sea and in daylight conditions, but overall I didn't understand why I spent so much money on it. Highly overrated. I will put it up for sale to get another one. As for the battery, annoying, I expected it to be stronger. I should have bought a second one but since I won't keep it, it would be a waste of money.

The quality this camera gives to its videos is amazing, with incredible details and vibrant colors; mounted on a gimbal, it becomes your perfect partner for dreamy recordings. Great scenarios!

So far it is very convenient, with a beautiful and clear image. However, the downside is that in the summer and at high temperatures, it overheats and shuts down, resulting in lost footage. Also, nothing is visible in the dark. These are the two disadvantages it has, which I knew before I bought it, but the quality and the settings won me over.

Good:
Works well, clear video and photos, even underwater. Didn't need to use the external cover I brought extra for snorkelling as the camera is waterproof as long as you don't go below 10m and also make sure the battery/SD card flap is closed properly with no obstructions.

Live streaming and control from a smartphone is very useful, especially if you mount the device on a tripod. Can also control it via voice commands, which is fun.

Bad:
Mods are a bit expensive (i.e. lenses) and I'm not sure I will use the video above 4k as my phone wont handle it and I'm not sure if my TV can either.
The handle in the underwater accessories is useful, and I was surprised that it floats, but would have been better if they sent the one that doubles as a tripod (it exists), as I has to buy my own tripod.

Initially, I have no previous experience with action cameras and I have had it for a very short time, so I have neither a point of comparison nor a complete picture.

One negative I have noticed so far is that it produces very mediocre shots in low light.

Perhaps another negative is the temperature, the camera heats up easily. This, of course, also depends on the selected video quality, so as expected, very high quality increases the camera's temperature more.

Nevertheless, from what I have used it, it is very good! Amazing shots during the day!

What interests me is that it outputs 4k at 60fps. It has very vibrant colors. The only negative I can mention is the short battery life, but with a power bank or a second backup, the problem is solved.

Amazing camera, does incredible things in video quality, etc., but GoPro does not have a program to edit videos; it only offers GoPro Quick, which is for mobile phones only and edits videos as it wants, plus it is limited in music, frames, etc. You have to pay for the full version, so for me, look for another product that above all offers respect to the customer.

P.S. After about 6 months of use:
A) Battery life barely 1 hour
B) You buy it bare, then you need magnetic cables, extra batteries, lenses, etc. Other companies provide these.
C) High temperature in videos over 4K
D) Night shots are almost laughable.
E) The company does not provide a video editing program; it has Quick with limited capabilities without a subscription.
F) Large size and weight for an action camera

For now, I am using this one, but when I replace it, I will definitely get something else.

Good shots, good camera but it heats up very easily during use and especially during charging. There are several moments when the menu freezes. Overall it's okay, the video shots are of amazing quality. On the other hand, the image shots not so much, they can be improved with a little editing.
