"Nights of Fire: Battle for Budapest" is the second strategic game in a duo that adapts the events of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 into a modern board game format. Following the success of the Hungarians in the first part, this game begins as the Red Army reaches the borders of the capital and advances into the heart of the city, seeking revenge, destruction, and ruthless pursuit of control. For the players responsible for the defense of the Hungarians, there is no time for organization and rebellion. This is a failed war of survival, plain and simple.

Combining card management and action mechanisms from modern European games with the theme and feel of a classic strategic game, players can experience the tension of a real no-win scenario and see how long they can keep the revolution alive under the pressure of the relentless advance of the Soviet military machine.

The game can be played by two revolutionary players against either a live or automated opponent.
