The reinforced toe cap adds protection against contact with rocks, while the SURFACE CTRL rubber outsole has 5 mm lugs for traction. The Matryx® forefoot is reinforced with Kevlar® for stability and durability.

The high-rebound EVA midsole provides 24 mm of cushioning in the heel and 18 mm in the forefoot. The outsole extends the full length of the shoe and wraps around the forefoot with rubber. It contains 10% rubber sourced from smallholder farmers who use agroforestry and regenerative agriculture practices.
