The Metabo SB 18 LTX Impuls is a cordless impact drill driver with an Impuls function for removing jammed screws and drilling on smooth surfaces. It features a Metabo 4-pole motor, a spindle with an internal hexagon socket for screwdriver bits, and an interchangeable chuck. The gear housing is made of die-cast aluminium to dissipate heat, while the Ø 43 mm collar allows flexible use.

Ultra-M technology monitors the tool and batteries to protect them. The batteries feature a charge-level indicator. The belt hook can be fitted on either the right or left side.
