Bugalugs styptic powder helps quickly stop bleeding from minor cuts, scratches, or injuries caused by trimming the nails of dogs and cats. Apply with moderate pressure to help clot the blood. It is also suitable for small animals.

To use, apply with a cotton applicator to the cut nail or other superficial bleeding, or dip the nail into the powder. Maintain moderate pressure for approximately 10–15 seconds, until the bleeding stops. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
