The lamp is dangerous and completely unsuitable. You risk losing the glass of your fixture and having its wires melt. Between the lamp and the glass, there is HELL. The temperatures are unbelievable. To remove the glass of the fixture, I used a towel. Imagine what it's like to remove the lamp itself.
Before you buy it, ask the store to leave it on for 2 minutes. Try to touch it CAREFULLY. It burns worse than hot water. I know that LED lamps are supposed to be completely cool, but it seems there are LEDs that are worse than the old incandescent ones with the filament. There is a similar lamp at triple the price, which I haven't tried but I suppose it wouldn't be in this condition.
In any case, try it before you buy it.
