Wonderful golden/black rum from the Dominican Republic, Ron Barcelo Anejo Rum recalls toffee, salted spices, and lanolin on the nose. A smooth entry leads to a well-rounded, slightly dry fruity palate with medium body notes of roasted nuts, black caramel, and vanilla. It finishes with delicious buttered nuts, spices, and faded caramel. Works well in cocktails or on the rocks.
