The Primasem crocus bulb flowers in spring and is sold loose, per bulb. It grows in sunny or partially shaded locations in well-drained soil and is planted in autumn.
Plant 5 cm deep, spacing the bulbs 5–8 cm apart, with the pointed end facing up. Fertilizer is not necessary at planting, though organic compost can be added. After flowering, allow the foliage to yellow and dry naturally before removing it. The bulbs can be divided after flowering, once the foliage has dried, to propagate the plants and thin them out.
