The package includes screws for installation and a screwdriver. It operates with a solar panel (included) or with 3 AA batteries. The solar panel comes with a mount that can be installed on a wall or driven into the ground.

The automatic door for the chicken coop helps eliminate the need to wake up at sunrise to open the door. You can operate it with a timer to set the time you want it to open and close or with the light sensor so it opens at dawn and closes at sunset. If it encounters resistance while closing, the door stops, thus preventing injury to the birds.
