I got it for fishing, but I have only used it in winter (basically that's when the fish are bigger - sea bass - and I needed more space). I would have preferred it to be wider and less tall, but I couldn't find one of good quality, with such features and at a reasonable price.
Very good performance, the ice packs after 12+ hours are as if I put them in an hour ago. I will try it in the summer as well and then I will decide about the 5th star. In my opinion, due to the great height and given that the coolers will be at the bottom, it will probably have an issue in the summer if the lid is opened frequently (when fishing, it will be opened often).
Το πήρα για το ψάρεμα, αλλά το έχω χρησιμοποιήσει μόνο χειμώνα (βασικά τότε τα ψάρια είναι μεγαλύτερα - λαυράκια - και χρειαζόμουν πιο πολύ χώρο). Θα προτιμούσα να ήταν πιο φαρδύ και λιγότερο ψηλό, αλλά δε μπορούσα να βρω σε κάποια καλή ποιότητα, με τέτοια χαρακτηριστικά και λογική τιμή.
Πολύ καλή συμπεριφορά, οι παγοκυψέλες μετά από 12+ ώρες είναι σα να τις έβαλα μια ώρα πριν. Θα το δοκιμάσω και καλοκαίρι και τότε θα αποφασίσω για το 5ο αστέρι. Κατά τη γνώμη μου, λόγω του μεγάλου ύψους και δεδομένου ότι οι ψύκτρες θα βρίσκονται χαμηλά, μάλλον το καλοκαίρι θα έχει θέμα αν ανοίγει συχνά το καπάκι (στο ψάρεμα θα ανοίγει συχνά).
I already had a cooler of similar dimensions, bought from a supermarket for about €20, with which I was quite satisfied but wanted something better.
As soon as the "Igloo Laguna" arrived, I compared it with the old cooler, putting a 1.5lt bottle of water in each, which I had previously frozen completely.
The difference in the time it took to fully thaw was minimal.
Therefore, I probably wasted €50...
Είχα ήδη ψυγιάκι ανάλογων διαστάσεων, αγορασμένο από σουπερ μάρκετ περίπου 20€, με το οποίο ήμουν αρκετά ικανοποιημένος αλλά ήθελα κάτι καλύτερο.
Μόλις ήρθε το "Igloo Laguna", το σύγκρινα με το παλιό ψυγιάκι, βάζοντας τους από ένα μπουκάλι νερό 1,5lt που προηγουμένως το είχα παγώσει εντελώς.
Η διαφορά στον χρόνο πλήρους ξεπαγώματος ήταν ελάχιστη.
Συνεπώς, μάλλον πέταξα 50€...
The refrigerator is Made in USA. Plastic of amazing quality. When you open the lid, it stands upright in the refrigerator with a long hinge, plastic but strong. The handle is quite reinforced, it doesn't sag under the load. It can fit a 1 1/2 liter water bottle in height. Nothing better.
Το ψυγείο είναι Made in USA. Καταπληκτικής ποιότητας πλαστικά. Όταν ανοίξεις το καπάκι στέκετε όρθιο στο ψυγείο με μακρύ μεντεσέ, πλαστικός μεν αλλά ισχυρός. Η χειρολαβή έναι αρκετά ενισχυμένη, δεν κάνει κοιλιά στα φορτία. Χωράει στο ύψος ένα μπουκάλι νερού 1 1/2 lt. Τίποτα καλύτερο.
