In general, it is not reliable. I expected from such a brand (and corresponding price) that I could rely on the measurements of this particular product, but unfortunately my expectations were disappointed.

They gave it to us as a gift when our little one was born. If you follow the temperature measurement instructions correctly, distances, etc., it is relatively accurate. (Anyway, the most accurate ones are the mercury ones...) It is very good for a first estimation of fever. It has very small deviation from the actual temperature. However, it takes 2-3 measurements to calculate. I am very satisfied!

It is fast and accurate in its measurements compared to mercury. I recommend it. Previously, I had purchased the Nuk and Beurer pacifier thermometers, which were inaccurate.

In the good: It is very easy to handle and a baby (tested on a 2-year-old :D) can handle it and understand if you have a fever or not.
In the bad: The most basic thing that a thermometer that costs 50 euros and comes from a well-known brand should do is to measure the temperature correctly. Every time, I will take 10 measurements, one after the other, and the total deviation can be over 1 degree. That is, I can have 36.9 or 38.1, measured within 2 minutes ten times. This is not a thermometer, it is a random number generator and certainly not worth even 5 euros for something like this, let alone 50.

The best infrared thermometer that measures both contact and non-contact (e.g. when the baby is sleeping). The price of 45€ is small compared to the prices in other retail stores and for the quality of the product.

Wasted money... It shows whatever it wants in the measurements. It says it's a family thermometer... One moment it shows 36 and in a little while 38.5. In fact, when I saw that it shows whatever it wants, I took it to the service and they told me it needs to be replaced. I returned it, they gave me another one and again the same thing. (It's infuriating to spend 80 € on a thermometer and see that it's made in China)
