Description

"Mental Strengthening Exercises" is a valuable tool, a comprehensive approach to brain training. Based on the principle of neuroplasticity, the exercises included in the book aim to enhance the connections between neurons and create new pathways in the brain, thus promoting the delay of progressive deterioration of cognitive function.

Since there is currently no specific pharmaceutical treatment for prevention, scientific research focuses on the development and evaluation of therapeutic strategies to delay the onset of symptoms, such as educational programs for cognitive strengthening. The goal is to mobilize all "reserves" of functionality to activate the ability to compensate for weak functions with other abilities.

Covering a wide range of functions, the content is divided into sections with categories corresponding to those used by neuropsychological tests, enabling tracking and relative matching. Each of the 25 sessions contains eight exercises, and at the end of each session, there are answers provided to validate the efforts made. The time required for each session is estimated at 30-40 minutes, with the degree of difficulty gradually increasing as the exercises progress.

The book is aimed at anyone who wishes to maintain their cognitive flexibility and performance, regardless of age or health condition. The exercises included offer a varied and flexible way to strengthen cognitive abilities, whether for individuals who feel they need enhancement in their cognitive functions or for those who have already been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia.
