Motorola Edge 50 Neo Review: A "hidden" gem at €200
After full use and upgrade to Android 16, the experience with the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is simply impressive for its price range. I love it for the value-for-money it offers, as it does things you find in much more expensive devices.
The Positives (Value €350+ in a €200 body)
Screen: Simply an amazing screen. Colors, brightness, and clarity you wouldn't expect in this category.
User Experience (Smoothness): The UI is extremely clean (almost stock Android), offering a very smooth flow almost everywhere.
Cameras: Very honest in all scenarios. They don't disappoint in low light or difficult shots, delivering realistic results.
Sound: This was a surprise. The earpiece and speakers are on par – if not better – than the iPhone 16 Pro I had before. Truly crystal-clear sound.
Battery & Charging: Despite its small size "on paper," in practice it is excellent. The highlight? Even if you forget to charge it, a 10-minute plug-in gives it enough to comfortably last the rest of the day.
The Negatives (Cold approach)
Background Apps: The system is a bit aggressive with memory management and closes background apps more often than it should.
Minor stutters: There are some occasional stutters here and there, mainly in demanding transitions, but nothing that ruins the overall picture.
Display Uniformity: On a pure white background, I notice some subtle shadows on the screen. It may be a defect of my device and not a general issue with the model.
Summary
For the €200 I paid, the negatives are almost non-existent. Its positives correspond to a phone worth €350-400. If you are looking for a device that does everything right without emptying your pocket, the Edge 50 Neo is the only way to go

Τα Θετικά (Value 350€+ σε σώμα των 200€)
Οθόνη: Απλά «οθονάρα». Χρώματα, φωτεινότητα και ευκρίνεια που δεν περιμένεις σε αυτή την κατηγορία.
Εμπειρία Χρήσης (Smoothness): Το UI είναι εξαιρετικά καθαρό (σχεδόν stock Android), προσφέροντας μια πολύ smooth ροή σχεδόν παντού.
Κάμερες: Πολύ τίμιες σε όλα τα σενάρια. Δεν απογοητεύουν ούτε σε χαμηλό φωτισμό ούτε σε δύσκολα πλάνα, προσφέροντας ρεαλιστικά αποτελέσματα.
Ήχος: Εδώ έγινε η έκπληξη. Το ακουστικό και τα ηχεία του είναι ισάξια –αν όχι καλύτερα– από το iPhone 16 Pro που είχα πριν. Πραγματικά κρυστάλλινος ήχος.
Μπαταρία & Φόρτιση: Παρά το μικρό της μέγεθος «στα χαρτιά», στην πράξη είναι εξαιρετική. Το highlight; Ακόμα και αν ξεχάσεις να το φορτίσεις, με ένα 10λεπτο στην πρίζα παίρνει όσο χρειάζεται για να βγάλεις άνετα την υπόλοιπη μέρα.
Τα Αρνητικά (Ψυχρή προσέγγιση)
Background Apps: Το σύστημα είναι λίγο επιθετικό με τη διαχείριση μνήμης και κλείνει τις εφαρμογές στο παρασκήνιο πιο συχνά από ό,τι θα έπρεπε.
Μικρο-κολλήματα: Υπάρχουν κάποια σκόρπια stutters εδώ και εκεί, κυρίως σε απαιτητικά transitions, αλλά τίποτα που να χαλάει τη συνολική εικόνα.
Display Uniformity: Σε καθαρό λευκό φόντο παρατηρώ κάποιες ανεπαίσθητες σκιές στην οθόνη. Ενδέχεται να είναι defect της δικής μου συσκευής και όχι γενικό πρόβλημα του μοντέλου.
Σύνοψη
Για τα 200 ευρώ που το πήρα, τα αρνητικά είναι σαν να μην υπάρχουν. Τα θετικά του αντιστοιχούν σε κινητό των 350-400 ευρώ. Αν ψάχνετε μια συσκευή που να τα κάνει όλα σωστά χωρίς να αδειάσει την τσέπη σας, το Edge 50 Neo είναι μονόδρομος
A hidden gem for anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune... compact screen of excellent quality, waterproof, wireless charging and fast wired charging at 68w! My main phone is the s25 ultra and I got this as a second one on offer for 199 euros and I feel like I robbed a church. Many Motorola devices are truly worthy and I wonder why there are various rumors!!

Some people mention the screen as a positive, saying it's ok, but since my previous phone was the Edge 30 Neo from 2022, the old model clearly has higher brightness and color contrast. Other than that, at the 200€ price you can find it now, it's a good choice for someone who wants a "small" device, since there is no other in this size. On the very positive side, the main camera has a Sony sensor, the same as the much more expensive Edge 60 Pro, taking very good photos, and the battery, although small in capacity, easily lasts a day. Also, it's one of the few Motorola models that will (supposedly) get 5 Android updates and not 3 as usual. The slightly upgraded 60 NEO is also worth it at 260€, but it hasn't officially arrived in the country yet, if that means anything.

Στα πολυ θετικα η βασικη καμερα εχει αισθητήρα της Σονυ ιδιο με το πολυ ακριβότερο edge 60 pro βγαζοντας πολυ καλες φωτο και η μπαταρια που αν και μικρη ονομαστικά βγαζει ανετα μερα, επισης ειναι απο τα λιγα μοντελα της Μοτορολα που θα παρει(?) 5 ενημερώσεις android και οχι 3 οπως συνήθως. Αξιζει και το ελαφρως αναβαθμισμένο 60 ΝΕΟ με 260Ε αλλα δεν εχει εχει ερθει επίσημα στην χωρα αν σημαίνει κατι αυτο .
I have had it since July 2025. Before that, I had the Huawei nova 5t, a relatively small phone with a 6.26 screen, and I dropped it from my motorcycle after 6 years and it broke. I wanted to go back to something similar in size. I think I made the best possible choice. 512GB memory with stereo sound, good cameras that compete with phones of at least 500 euros, its battery easily lasts a day with heavy use, calls, and quite a bit of social media, and the good thing is that it charges in about 40 minutes. It hasn't frozen on me at all and everything is ok so far.

Excellent phone, I would say a hidden gem in the oversaturated device market that, due to insufficient advertising from Moto, is not so much in the spotlight. Everything is excellent from camera, performance, capacity, even appearance, with the only downside being the lack of a charger in the box. I would suggest watching some videos on the internet for further information about the features, but in my opinion, it is definitely worth its money!!!
Εξαιρετικό τηλέφωνο, κρυμμένο διαμάντι θα έλεγα εγώ στον υπερκορεσμό συσκευών στην αγορά που λόγω ελλιπούς διαφήμισης απ' την Μοτο δεν είναι τόσο στο spotlight. Όλα εξαιρετικά από κάμερα, λειτουργία, χωρητικότητα ακόμα και εμφάνιση, με μόνο πλην την έλλειψη φορτιστή στο κουτί. Θα πρότεινα να δείτε και μερικά βίντεο στο ίντερνετ για περαιτέρω πληροφόρηση για τα χαρακτηριστικά αλλά κατ εμέ αξίζει σίγουρα τα λεφτά του!!!
One month after purchase, the phone simply "rocks" for its price (230€ without VAT). I left XIAOMI (Redmi 10 pro) after much thought since all my previous phones were XIAOMI (I started with their first phone, the Mi1, in 2011). I use it at work (photojournalism), the size is ideally a bit smaller than usual. The battery easily lasts until the evening (I have chosen to charge it up to 80% and once a week to 100%). Photo and video (with stabilization) are flawless in daylight. At night, don't expect miracles, especially for moving subjects. Video and photo editing (lightroom) is fast. Even though it has a UFS 2.2 file system and not the new 4.0, files appear (currently 20% of the space, 8,000 photos) very quickly.
Ενα μηνα μετά την αγορά το κινητό απλά "τα σπάει" για τα λεφτά του (230€ χωρίς ΦΠΑ). Αφησα την XIAOMI (Redmi 10 pro) μετά από πολύ σκέψη μια που όλα τα προηγούμενα τηλέφωνα που είχα ήταν της ΧΙΑΟΜΙ (Ξεκίνησα από το πρώτο της κινητό Mi1 το 2011). Το χρησιμοποιώ στην δουλειά (φωτορεπορταζ) το μέγεθος ιδανικά λίγο ποιο μικρό από το συνηθισμένο. Η μπαταρία κρατά άνετα μέχρι το βράδυ (έχω επιλέξει να φορτίζει μέχρι το 80% και μια φορά την εβδομάδα στο 100%). Φωτογραφία και video (με stabilization) άψογα με το φως της ημέρας. Νύχτα μην περιμένετε θαύματα ειδικά για κινούμενα θέματα. Επεξεργασία βίντεο και φωτογραφιών (lightroom) γρήγορη. Παρ'όλο που έχει σύστημα αρχείων UFS 2.2 και όχι το νέο 4.0 τα αρχεία εμφανίζονται (προς το παρόν 20% του χώρου, 8.000 φωτογραφίες) ταχύτατα.

I have been a owner of the phone for a few days now and I am already disappointed. Based on the good reviews, I decided to buy it as I needed a basic phone in a compact size. The size is indeed good as well as the performance of the phone in general. The immediate negatives I noticed are the quality of the materials which, although days have passed, still has a strong plastic smell to the point that it lingers on my fingers. The camera of the phone is also tragic when switched to selfie mode. Besides the fact that the brightness automatically goes to maximum and I haven't found anywhere how to change this, the quality is the worst I have ever seen in my life. I don't understand how this can happen in a phone of its price. Personally, I would not buy it again even for half the money.
Είμαι κάτοχος του κινητού εδώ και λίγες μέρες και δηλώνω ήδη απογοητευμένη. Βασιζόμενη στις καλές κριτικές αποφάσισα να το αγοράσω έχοντας ανάγκη ένα basic κινητό σε compact μέγεθος. Το μέγεθος είναι όντως καλό όπως και η απόδοση του κινητού σε γενικές γραμμές. Στα άμεσα αρνητικά που πρόσεξα είναι η ποιότητα των υλικών του που παρότι έχουν περάσει μέρες μυρίζει έντονα πλαστικίλα σε βαθμό που μένει και στα δάχτυλα. Τραγική είναι επίσης και η κάμερα του κινητού όταν γυρίζει στο selfie. Εκτός του ότι αυτόματα ανεβαίνει η φωτεινότητα στο μάξιμουμ και δεν έχω βρει πουθενά πως αλλάζει αυτό, η ποιότητα είναι η χειρότερη που έχω δει στην ζωή μου. Δεν καταλαβαίνω πως συμβαίνει αυτό σε ένα κινητό της τιμής του. Προσωπικά δεν θα το ξαναγόραζα ούτε για τα μισά λεφτά.

Ενεργοποίησα το wifi-calling, αλλά ελαχιστα βοήθησε καθώς το δίκτυο Wi-Fi είναι ασθενές (και δημόσιο). Αν το ήξερα δεν θα το αγόραζα
Owner of this specific phone for a few hours now, without having had other Motorola phones in my hands, guys, this phone looks into the eyes of more expensive phones, and believe me, many have passed through my hands. Although I thought the small screen wouldn't suit me, the opposite happened. Let's get to the positives quickly... super lightweight software, as soon as I turned it on, it got the first update of November and immediately Android 15, excellent cameras above average, I haven't tried video yet but I will get back to that, ridiculously fast in any app you run, charges with any fast charger you have without needing to spend more money, has an excellent screen with epic brightness, has two very satisfying stereo speakers, and lastly, it comes with an IP68 certification which means waterproof... I don't know, I think that for the money it costs now for the 8/256, you can buy it with your eyes closed and for two years you're done with your phone. I don't know if screen protectors and cases are widely available, but the package includes an excellent case... I mean, even though it's not that powerful in processing, for the absolute flagship killer at 300 euros, I hope I helped!
P.S. The only negative I found is that it works better with the Opera search engine than with Google Chrome, although that doesn't bother me at all, and maybe it will be fixed in the next update!

First time using a Smartphone from this company. Overall, I am very satisfied.
ADVANTAGES: Very nice 120Hz LTPO screen, thin bezels, has Anti-flicker for those who are bothered by AMOLED screens.
It is a compact phone, which is rare for Android phones, especially at this price.
It has very nice speakers, clear, loud/bassy sound and during calls, I am heard very clearly.
And most importantly, it is very fast and does not lag at all.
DISADVANTAGES:
From the first impression, I thought the cameras were very bad, but in reality, you just need to go into the settings and set high photo quality, as out of the box it is set to medium for some reason. After that, the photos became noticeably better, although for €330 I expected them to be better; I would rate its photo capability 3.5/5. Video 3/5.
On the downside, the battery does not last me all day.
Although it has 67W fast charging, it does not come with an adapter, only a cable in the box. For now, I charge it with 33W and I can say it charges quite quickly.
Now for the software, it is a bit difficult for me to get used to after 5 years of experience with MIUI, many things that existed are missing here. Also, the settings are more complicated and every time I want to find something, I have to solve riddles.
So, after 2 months, I have to say that the battery is very bad, it does not last at all, I can't even get a full day. Also, its video capabilities are very low, the camera is worse than the Redmi Note 10 S. The camera app lags, as soon as I open it, it freezes, as if the fps drops. Also, a very annoying thing is that you can't clear the RAM like in other Xiaomi or Samsung phones, so after a few days depending on usage, the RAM reaches 10.99/12 and it starts to lag; to clear it, you just have to restart, at least it restarts quickly but it's incredibly annoying. IT'S JUST ONE BUTTON GUYS, THE RAM CLEAN, come on!!! Generally, as a phone, it does not lag, it flies (if you clear the RAM every 3/4 days like every Android smartphone). Thinking about it again, I would give it 2.5 stars because the battery is very bad and the video quality as well. Now, the software is purely a matter of taste. Είναι κόμπακτ κινητό, πράγμα που είναι σπάνιο στα android κινητά ειδικά με αυτά τα λεφτά .
Έχει πολύ ωραία ηχεία καθαρός δυνατός/μπασάτος ήχος και στις κλήσεις, ακούγομαι πολύ καθαρά .
Και το ποίο βασικό είναι πολύ γρήγορο δεν κολλάει καθόλου.
ΜΕΙΟΝΕΚΤΉΜΑΤΑ:
Από την πρώτη εντύπωση πίστευα ότι η κάμερες είναι πολύ χάλια , στην πραγματικότητα πρέπει απλά να μπείτε στις ρυθμίσεις και να βάλετε υψηλή ποιότητα φωτογραφίας , από το κουτί έχει το τικ στο μέτριες για κάποιο λόγο . Μετά από αυτό η φωτογραφίες έγιναν φανερά καλύτερες , αν και για 330€ περίμενα να είναι ποιο καλές θα έβαζα στης φωτοικανότητές του 3.5/5 . Βίντεο 3/5

Αν και έχει γρήγορη φόρτιση 67W δεν έχει ανταπτορα μόνο καλώδιο στο κουτί. Προσωρινά το φωτίζω με 33w και μπορώ να πως φορτίζει αρκετά γρήγορα.
Τώρα για το λογισμικό, μου είναι λίγο δύσκολο να το συνηθίσω μετά από μια εμπειρία 5 χρονών στο MIUI , πολλά πράγματα που υπήρχαν έχει λείπουν εδώ. Επίσης οι ρυθμίσεις είναι πιο περίπλοκες και για να βρω κάτι κάθε φορά λύνω γρίφους.
Λοιπόν πέρασαν 2 μήνες έχω να πω ότι η μπαταρία είναι πολύ χάλια δεν κρατάει καθόλου, δεν βγάζω ούτε 1 μέρα. Επίσης οι βίντεο ικανότητες του είναι πολύ χαμηλές η κάμερα είναι χειρότερη από το Redmi Note 10 S . Η εφαρμογή κάμερα κολλάει, μόλις μπω φριζάρει , σαν να πέφτουν τα fps . Επίσης ένα πολύ σπαστικό πραρμα δεν μπορείς να καθαρίσεις την μνήμη ΡΑΜ όπως σε άλλα κινητά Xiaomi ή Samsung με αποτέλεσμα μετά από κάτι μέρες ανάλογα τη χρήση η ραμ φτάνει το 10.99/12 και ξεκινάει να κολλάει, για να την καθαρίσεις πρέπει απλά να κάνεις επανεκκίνηση πάλι καλά την κάνει γρήγορα αλλά απίστευτα σπαστικό ΕΝΑ ΚΟΥΜΠΆΚΙ ΕΊΝΑΙ ΡΕ ΠΑΙΔΙΆ ΤΟ RAM CLEAN έλεος!!! Γενικά σαν κινητό δεν κολλάει πετάει (αν καθαρίζεις την Ραμ κάθε 3/4 μέρες όπως κάθε Android smartphone) . Ξανασκεφτοντας το θα βάζα 2.5 αστέρια γιατί η μπαταρία είναι πολύ χάλια και η ποιότητα βίντεο επίσης. Τώρα το λογισμικό είναι καθαρά θέμα γούστου. Το μεγαλύτερο πλονέκτημά είναι η ομορφιά του και οι οθόνη 10/10

1 Η μπαταρία είναι μικρή 4310 mA η και η διαχείριση της πιστεύω θα μπορούσε να είναι ακόμα καλύτερη σύμφωνα με τα πρότυπα ασφαλής φόρτισης δηλαδή μέχρι 80% και 20% το ξαναβαζεις για φόρτιση για την μέγιστη υγεία μπαταρίας. Αν το φορτίσεις το βράδυ φτάσει 80 % και το βγάλεις το πρωί θα χεις 75% και μετά από λίγο θα παρατήρησεις να πέφτει στο 70% με μέτρια προς βαριά χρήση η μπαταρία πέφτει αισθητά. Αλλά αν το φορτίσεις 100% νιώθεις μεγαλύτερη ασφάλεια
2 Παρόλο που είναι γρήγορο έχει κάτι ψιλό κολλήματα και μπαγκ και η εφαρμογή της κάμερας κολλάει είναι ανεπίτρεπτο μια φορά freezare ολόκληρο μπορεί να έτυχε αλλά αυτό σημαίνει ότι το ui της Motorola θέλει λίγο ακόμα δουλειά ή το android

The first two weeks and it looks very good.
I was particularly surprised by the camera, which while reading online is the least good part of it, takes very good photos, especially in low light! Specifically, it seems to do some automatic post-processing to make the photos brighter and sharper immediately after you take them. The telephoto lens allows for 3× optical zoom and more beautiful portraits. (The photos it takes are not as clear compared to the regular one.) And the macro lens is very good. You can take detailed photos from very close up.
What really annoys me A LOT is that when you open the camera, it sets the brightness to max!! I've seen this on many phones, the others let me disable this feature. I understand the logic if you are taking photos during the day, but at night it just blinds you!
Another thing that annoys me is that while it generally runs Android which is very close to stock and you can disable the additional apps that Motorola has added, every few days, it bothers me trying to pitch some feature or app that is clearly useless.
For example, while I had disabled all Motorola apps, today it had a pinned message on the lock screen telling me to enable "stories" on the lock screen!! To remove it, I had to enable them, complete the tutorial, so that I could then disable them! And I saw that a new Motorola app called "Live Lock Screen" had downloaded by itself.
Despite these small annoyances, however, the device seems generally very good.
The battery is amazing. It easily lasts a day, even though I use it A LOT, and I always have apps running in the background. Often, it lasts even two days!
What I am waiting to see is if it overheats in hot weather, like my previous phone, Pixel 6a. However, I will be able to see this in the summer. I will update the review then!
Πρώτες δύο εβδομάδες και φαίνεται πολύ καλό.
Με εξέπληξε ιδιαίτερα η κάμερα, που ενώ διαβάζει online είναι το λιγότερο καλό τμήμα του, βγάζει πολύ καλές φωτογραφίες, ειδικά σε low light! Συγκεκριμένα, φαίνεται να κάνει κάποιο αυτόματο post processing για να κάνει τις φωτογραφίες πιο φωτεινές και πιο sharp αμέσως αφού τις πάρεις. Ο φακός telephoto δίνει τη δυνατότητα για 3× οπτικό zoom και πιο όμορφα πορτρέτα. (Δεν είναι το ίδιο καθαρές οι φωτογραφίες που βγάζει σε σχέση με τον κανονικό.) Και ο macro φακός είναι πολύ καλός. Μπορείς να βγάζεις λεπτομερείς φωτογραφίες από πολύ κοντά.
Αυτό που μου τη σπάει ΠΑΡΑ ΠΟΛΥ είναι ότι, όταν ανοίγεις την κάμερα, πάει τη φωτεινότητα στο max!! Αυτό το έχω δει σε πολλά κινητά τα άλλα με άφηναν να απενεργοποιήσω αυτή τη λειτουργία. Καταλαβαίνω τη λογική αν παίρνεις φωτογραφίες την ημέρα, αλλά τη νύχτα απλά σε στραβώνει!
Κάτι άλλο που μου της πάει είναι ότι, ενώ σε γενικές γραμμές τρέχει Android που είναι πολύ κοντά στο stock και μπορείς να απενεργοποιήσεις τις επιπρόσθετες εφαρμογές που έχει βάλει η Motorola, κάθε λίγες μέρες, με ενοχλεί προσπαθώντας να μου πιτσάρει κάποιο feature ή εφαρμογή που είναι ξεκάθαρα άχρηστο.
Π.χ., ενώ είχα απενεργοποιήσει όλες τις εφαρμογές της Motorola, σήμερα μου είχε ένα μήνυμα καρφιτσωμένο στο lock screen που μου έλεγε να ενεργοποιήσω «stories» στο lock screen!! Για να φύγει, έπρεπε να τα ενεργοποιήσω, να ολοκληρώσω το tutorial, ώστε να μπορέσω μετά να τα απενεργοποιήσω! Και είδα ότι είχε κατέβει μόνη της μια νέα εφαρμογή Μοτορόλα που λέγεται «Live Lock Screen».
Παρά αυτές τις μικρές ενοχλήσεις, όμως, η συσκευή φαίνεται γενικά πολύ καλή.
Η μπαταρία φοβερή. Άνετα βγάζει μία μέρα, παρά το ότι το χρησιμοποιώ ΠΟΛΥ, και έχω συνέχεια στο background να τρέχουνε εφαρμογές. Συχνά, βγάζει και δύο μέρες!
Αυτό που αναμένετε να δω είναι αν υπερθερμαίνεται σε ζεστό καιρό, όπως το προηγούμενό μου τηλέφωνο, Pixel 6a. Αυτό, όμως, θα μπορέσω να το δω το καλοκαίρι. Θα αναβαθμίσω τότε το review!
I was justified in my choice to leave the Samsung A52 and try the Motorola. Super screen, very good software, smart features from Motorola, normal battery - comfortably lasts a day. Signal is definitely better than the previous phone. I've had it for two months and I'm 100% satisfied. If I could say something I'm not completely satisfied with, it's the default camera setting, which is excellent. If you go into professional mode, you can easily solve the issue with a simple ISO adjustment. I would comfortably buy it again.
Δικαιώθηκα με την επιλογή να αφήσω το Samsung A52 και να δοκιμάσω τη Motorola. Σούπερ οθόνη, πολύ καλό λογισμικό, έξυπνες λειτουργίες της Motorola, κανονική μπαταρία- άνετα μέρα. Σήμα σίγουρα καλύτερο από το προηγούμενο κινητό. Το έχω δύο μήνες και είμαι 100% ευχαριστημένος. Αν θα μπορούσα να πω κάτι που δεν είμαι απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος είναι η default ρύθμιση της κάμερας, η οποία είναι εξαιρετική. Αν μπεις στην επαγγελματική λειτουργία, με απλή ρύθμιση του ISO το λύνεις το θέμα. Το ξαναγόραζα άνετα.

Just a glance at the features and you realize that it lacks nothing, not only in its category but generally in all categories. Quality in hand, lightweight, although waterproof and durable, compact dimensions without missing out on inches. Finally, a Motorola edge without an edge display, for those who prefer flat screens. The processor doesn’t seem to struggle anywhere, except perhaps with very heavy games, which I haven't tried, while after about 2 weeks of use, it now manages energy very well. In my usage pattern, it even lasts up to 3 days with the battery at 76% remaining (it will likely be less, but still). If I wanted something more, it would be an infrared port (which unfortunately only Xiaomi has now) and maybe a 3.5mm headphone jack (which even Xiaomi is now eliminating). It was purchased for €370 on the first day almost with VAT exemption and it truly deserves it. Logically, its price will drop further, which in my opinion makes it a bargain and VFM.
Μια ματιά μόνο στα χαρακτηριστικά και αντιλαμβάνεσαι ότι δεν του λείπει τίποτα, όχι μόνο στην κατηγορία του, αλλά γενικά σε όλες τις κατηγορίες. Ποιοτικό στο χέρι, ελαφρύ, αν και αδιάβροχο και ανθεκτικό, μαζεμένες διαστάσεις χωρίς να του λείπουν οι ίντσες. Επιτέλους ένα Motorola edge χωρίς edge οθόνη, για όσους προτιμούν τις επίπεδες οθόνες. ΄Ο επεξεργαστής δεν δείχνει να ζορίζεται πουθενά, εκτός ίσως από πολύ βαριά παιχνίδια, τα οποία όμως δεν έχω δοκιμάσει, ενώ μετά από 2 εβδομάδες περίπου χρήσης πλέον κάνει πολύ καλή διαχείριση ενέργειας. Στο δικό μου μοτίβο χρήσης του κινητού βγάζει ακόμα και 3 μέρες υπολειπόμενο με μπαταρία στο 76% (λογικά θα είναι λιγότερο, αλλά και πάλι). Αν ήθελα κάτι παραπάνω είναι μια θύρα υπερύθρων (που μόνο τα Xiaomi έχουν πλέον δυστυχώς) και ίσως θύρα ακουστικών 3.5mm (που πλέον ακόμα και τα Xiaomi την καταργούν). Αγοράστηκε στα 370€ την πρώτη μέρα σχεδόν με απαλλαγή ΦΠΑ και πραγματικά τα αξίζει. Λογικά θα πέσει κι άλλο η τιμή του πράγμα που κατά τη γνώμη μου το καθιστά κελεπούρι και VFM.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo Review: A "hidden" gem at €200
After full use and upgrade to Android 16, the experience with the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is simply impressive for its price range. I love it for the value-for-money it offers, as it does things you find in much more expensive devices.
The Positives (Value €350+ in a €200 body)
Screen: Simply an amazing screen. Colors, brightness, and clarity you wouldn't expect in this category.
User Experience (Smoothness): The UI is extremely clean (almost stock Android), offering a very smooth flow almost everywhere.
Cameras: Very honest in all scenarios. They don't disappoint in low light or difficult shots, delivering realistic results.
Sound: This was a surprise. The earpiece and speakers are on par – if not better – than the iPhone 16 Pro I had before. Truly crystal-clear sound.
Battery & Charging: Despite its small size "on paper," in practice it is excellent. The highlight? Even if you forget to charge it, a 10-minute plug-in gives it enough to comfortably last the rest of the day.
The Negatives (Cold approach)
Background Apps: The system is a bit aggressive with memory management and closes background apps more often than it should.
Minor stutters: There are some occasional stutters here and there, mainly in demanding transitions, but nothing that ruins the overall picture.
Display Uniformity: On a pure white background, I notice some subtle shadows on the screen. It may be a defect of my device and not a general issue with the model.
Summary

Μετά από πλήρη χρήση και αναβάθμιση σε Android 16, η εμπειρία με το Motorola Edge 50 Neo είναι απλά εντυπωσιακή για τα δεδομένα της τιμής του. Το αγαπάω για το value-for-money που προσφέρει, καθώς κάνει πράγματα που βρίσκεις σε πολύ ακριβότερες συσκευές.
Τα Θετικά (Value 350€+ σε σώμα των 200€)
Οθόνη: Απλά «οθονάρα». Χρώματα, φωτεινότητα και ευκρίνεια που δεν περιμένεις σε αυτή την κατηγορία.

Τα Αρνητικά (Ψυχρή προσέγγιση)
Background Apps: Το σύστημα είναι λίγο επιθετικό με τη διαχείριση μνήμης και κλείνει τις εφαρμογές στο παρασκήνιο πιο συχνά από ό,τι θα έπρεπε.
Μικρο-κολλήματα: Υπάρχουν κάποια σκόρπια stutters εδώ και εκεί, κυρίως σε απαιτητικά transitions, αλλά τίποτα που να χαλάει τη συνολική εικόνα.
Display Uniformity: Σε καθαρό λευκό φόντο παρατηρώ κάποιες ανεπαίσθητες σκιές στην οθόνη. Ενδέχεται να είναι defect της δικής μου συσκευής και όχι γενικό πρόβλημα του μοντέλου.

My main phone is the s25 ultra and I got this as a second one on offer for 199 euros and I feel like I robbed a church. Some people mention the screen as a positive, saying it's ok, but since my previous phone was the Edge 30 Neo from 2022, the old model clearly has higher brightness and color contrast. Other than that, at the 200€ price you can find it now, it's a good choice for someone who wants a "small" device, since there is no other in this size. On the very positive side, the main camera has a Sony sensor, the same as the much more expensive Edge 60 Pro, taking very good photos, and the battery, although small in capacity, easily lasts a day. Also, it's one of the few Motorola models that will (supposedly) get 5 Android updates and not 3 as usual. The slightly upgraded 60 NEO is also worth it at 260€, but it hasn't officially arrived in the country yet, if that means anything.

Αξιζει και το ελαφρως αναβαθμισμένο 60 ΝΕΟ με 260Ε αλλα δεν εχει εχει ερθει επίσημα στην χωρα αν σημαίνει κατι αυτο .
I have had it since July 2025. Before that, I had the Huawei nova 5t, a relatively small phone with a 6.26 screen, and I dropped it from my motorcycle after 6 years and it broke. I wanted to go back to something similar in size. I think I made the best possible choice. 512GB memory with stereo sound, good cameras that compete with phones of at least 500 euros, its battery easily lasts a day with heavy use, calls, and quite a bit of social media, and the good thing is that it charges in about 40 minutes. It hasn't frozen on me at all and everything is ok so far.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo Review: A "hidden" gem at €200
After full use and upgrade to Android 16, the experience with the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is simply impressive for its price range. I love it for the value-for-money it offers, as it does things you find in much more expensive devices.
The Positives (Value €350+ in a €200 body)
Screen: Simply an amazing screen. Colors, brightness, and clarity you wouldn't expect in this category.
User Experience (Smoothness): The UI is extremely clean (almost stock Android), offering a very smooth flow almost everywhere.
Cameras: Very honest in all scenarios. They don't disappoint in low light or difficult shots, delivering realistic results.
Sound: This was a surprise. The earpiece and speakers are on par – if not better – than the iPhone 16 Pro I had before. Truly crystal-clear sound.
Battery & Charging: Despite its small size "on paper," in practice it is excellent. The highlight? Even if you forget to charge it, a 10-minute plug-in gives it enough to comfortably last the rest of the day.
The Negatives (Cold approach)
Background Apps: The system is a bit aggressive with memory management and closes background apps more often than it should.
Minor stutters: There are some occasional stutters here and there, mainly in demanding transitions, but nothing that ruins the overall picture.
Display Uniformity: On a pure white background, I notice some subtle shadows on the screen. It may be a defect of my device and not a general issue with the model.
Summary
For the €200 I paid, the negatives are almost non-existent. Its positives correspond to a phone worth €350-400. If you are looking for a device that does everything right without emptying your pocket, the Edge 50 Neo is the only way to go

Τα Θετικά (Value 350€+ σε σώμα των 200€)
Οθόνη: Απλά «οθονάρα». Χρώματα, φωτεινότητα και ευκρίνεια που δεν περιμένεις σε αυτή την κατηγορία.
Εμπειρία Χρήσης (Smoothness): Το UI είναι εξαιρετικά καθαρό (σχεδόν stock Android), προσφέροντας μια πολύ smooth ροή σχεδόν παντού.
Κάμερες: Πολύ τίμιες σε όλα τα σενάρια. Δεν απογοητεύουν ούτε σε χαμηλό φωτισμό ούτε σε δύσκολα πλάνα, προσφέροντας ρεαλιστικά αποτελέσματα.
Ήχος: Εδώ έγινε η έκπληξη. Το ακουστικό και τα ηχεία του είναι ισάξια –αν όχι καλύτερα– από το iPhone 16 Pro που είχα πριν. Πραγματικά κρυστάλλινος ήχος.
Μπαταρία & Φόρτιση: Παρά το μικρό της μέγεθος «στα χαρτιά», στην πράξη είναι εξαιρετική. Το highlight; Ακόμα και αν ξεχάσεις να το φορτίσεις, με ένα 10λεπτο στην πρίζα παίρνει όσο χρειάζεται για να βγάλεις άνετα την υπόλοιπη μέρα.
Τα Αρνητικά (Ψυχρή προσέγγιση)
Background Apps: Το σύστημα είναι λίγο επιθετικό με τη διαχείριση μνήμης και κλείνει τις εφαρμογές στο παρασκήνιο πιο συχνά από ό,τι θα έπρεπε.
Μικρο-κολλήματα: Υπάρχουν κάποια σκόρπια stutters εδώ και εκεί, κυρίως σε απαιτητικά transitions, αλλά τίποτα που να χαλάει τη συνολική εικόνα.
Display Uniformity: Σε καθαρό λευκό φόντο παρατηρώ κάποιες ανεπαίσθητες σκιές στην οθόνη. Ενδέχεται να είναι defect της δικής μου συσκευής και όχι γενικό πρόβλημα του μοντέλου.

Excellent phone, I would say a hidden gem in the oversaturated device market that, due to insufficient advertising from Moto, is not so much in the spotlight. Everything is excellent from camera, performance, capacity, even appearance, with the only downside being the lack of a charger in the box. I would suggest watching some videos on the internet for further information about the features, but in my opinion, it is definitely worth its money!!!
Εξαιρετικό τηλέφωνο, κρυμμένο διαμάντι θα έλεγα εγώ στον υπερκορεσμό συσκευών στην αγορά που λόγω ελλιπούς διαφήμισης απ' την Μοτο δεν είναι τόσο στο spotlight. Όλα εξαιρετικά από κάμερα, λειτουργία, χωρητικότητα ακόμα και εμφάνιση, με μόνο πλην την έλλειψη φορτιστή στο κουτί. Θα πρότεινα να δείτε και μερικά βίντεο στο ίντερνετ για περαιτέρω πληροφόρηση για τα χαρακτηριστικά αλλά κατ εμέ αξίζει σίγουρα τα λεφτά του!!!
One month after purchase, the phone simply "rocks" for its price (230€ without VAT). I left XIAOMI (Redmi 10 pro) after much thought since all my previous phones were XIAOMI (I started with their first phone, the Mi1, in 2011). I use it at work (photojournalism), the size is ideally a bit smaller than usual. The battery easily lasts until the evening (I have chosen to charge it up to 80% and once a week to 100%). Photo and video (with stabilization) are flawless in daylight. At night, don't expect miracles, especially for moving subjects. Video and photo editing (lightroom) is fast. Even though it has a UFS 2.2 file system and not the new 4.0, files appear (currently 20% of the space, 8,000 photos) very quickly.
Ενα μηνα μετά την αγορά το κινητό απλά "τα σπάει" για τα λεφτά του (230€ χωρίς ΦΠΑ). Αφησα την XIAOMI (Redmi 10 pro) μετά από πολύ σκέψη μια που όλα τα προηγούμενα τηλέφωνα που είχα ήταν της ΧΙΑΟΜΙ (Ξεκίνησα από το πρώτο της κινητό Mi1 το 2011). Το χρησιμοποιώ στην δουλειά (φωτορεπορταζ) το μέγεθος ιδανικά λίγο ποιο μικρό από το συνηθισμένο. Η μπαταρία κρατά άνετα μέχρι το βράδυ (έχω επιλέξει να φορτίζει μέχρι το 80% και μια φορά την εβδομάδα στο 100%). Φωτογραφία και video (με stabilization) άψογα με το φως της ημέρας. Νύχτα μην περιμένετε θαύματα ειδικά για κινούμενα θέματα. Επεξεργασία βίντεο και φωτογραφιών (lightroom) γρήγορη. Παρ'όλο που έχει σύστημα αρχείων UFS 2.2 και όχι το νέο 4.0 τα αρχεία εμφανίζονται (προς το παρόν 20% του χώρου, 8.000 φωτογραφίες) ταχύτατα.

I have been a owner of the phone for a few days now and I am already disappointed. Based on the good reviews, I decided to buy it as I needed a basic phone in a compact size. The size is indeed good as well as the performance of the phone in general. The immediate negatives I noticed are the quality of the materials which, although days have passed, still has a strong plastic smell to the point that it lingers on my fingers. The camera of the phone is also tragic when switched to selfie mode. Besides the fact that the brightness automatically goes to maximum and I haven't found anywhere how to change this, the quality is the worst I have ever seen in my life. I don't understand how this can happen in a phone of its price. Personally, I would not buy it again even for half the money.
Είμαι κάτοχος του κινητού εδώ και λίγες μέρες και δηλώνω ήδη απογοητευμένη. Βασιζόμενη στις καλές κριτικές αποφάσισα να το αγοράσω έχοντας ανάγκη ένα basic κινητό σε compact μέγεθος. Το μέγεθος είναι όντως καλό όπως και η απόδοση του κινητού σε γενικές γραμμές. Στα άμεσα αρνητικά που πρόσεξα είναι η ποιότητα των υλικών του που παρότι έχουν περάσει μέρες μυρίζει έντονα πλαστικίλα σε βαθμό που μένει και στα δάχτυλα. Τραγική είναι επίσης και η κάμερα του κινητού όταν γυρίζει στο selfie. Εκτός του ότι αυτόματα ανεβαίνει η φωτεινότητα στο μάξιμουμ και δεν έχω βρει πουθενά πως αλλάζει αυτό, η ποιότητα είναι η χειρότερη που έχω δει στην ζωή μου. Δεν καταλαβαίνω πως συμβαίνει αυτό σε ένα κινητό της τιμής του. Προσωπικά δεν θα το ξαναγόραζα ούτε για τα μισά λεφτά.

Στον ίδιο χώρο (εργασίας) με τον ίδιο παροχο πριν μπορούσα να κάνω και να δεχτώ κλήσεις, τώρα πρεπει να μετακινηθω πολλά μετρα. Ενεργοποίησα το wifi-calling, αλλά ελαχιστα βοήθησε καθώς το δίκτυο Wi-Fi είναι ασθενές (και δημόσιο). Αν το ήξερα δεν θα το αγόραζα
Owner of this specific phone for a few hours now, without having had other Motorola phones in my hands, guys, this phone looks into the eyes of more expensive phones, and believe me, many have passed through my hands. Although I thought the small screen wouldn't suit me, the opposite happened. Let's get to the positives quickly... super lightweight software, as soon as I turned it on, it got the first update of November and immediately Android 15, excellent cameras above average, I haven't tried video yet but I will get back to that, ridiculously fast in any app you run, charges with any fast charger you have without needing to spend more money, has an excellent screen with epic brightness, has two very satisfying stereo speakers, and lastly, it comes with an IP68 certification which means waterproof... I don't know, I think that for the money it costs now for the 8/256, you can buy it with your eyes closed and for two years you're done with your phone. I don't know if screen protectors and cases are widely available, but the package includes an excellent case... I mean, even though it's not that powerful in processing, for the absolute flagship killer at 300 euros, I hope I helped!
P.S. The only negative I found is that it works better with the Opera search engine than with Google Chrome, although that doesn't bother me at all, and maybe it will be fixed in the next update!

First time using a Smartphone from this company. Overall, I am very satisfied.
ADVANTAGES: Very nice 120Hz LTPO screen, thin bezels, has Anti-flicker for those who are bothered by AMOLED screens.
It is a compact phone, which is rare for Android phones, especially at this price.
It has very nice speakers, clear, loud/bassy sound and during calls, I am heard very clearly.
And most importantly, it is very fast and does not lag at all.
DISADVANTAGES:
From the first impression, I thought the cameras were very bad, but in reality, you just need to go into the settings and set high photo quality, as out of the box it is set to medium for some reason. After that, the photos became noticeably better, although for €330 I expected them to be better; I would rate its photo capability 3.5/5. Video 3/5.
On the downside, the battery does not last me all day.
Although it has 67W fast charging, it does not come with an adapter, only a cable in the box. For now, I charge it with 33W and I can say it charges quite quickly.
Now for the software, it is a bit difficult for me to get used to after 5 years of experience with MIUI, many things that existed are missing here. Also, the settings are more complicated and every time I want to find something, I have to solve riddles.

ΠΛΕΟΝΕΚΤΉΜΑΤΑ : Παρά πολύ ωραία οθόνη 120ΗΖ LTPO , λεπτά Μπέιζελς , έχει Αντιφλίνκ για όσους ενοχλούν οι ΑΜΟLED οθόνες.
Είναι κόμπακτ κινητό, πράγμα που είναι σπάνιο στα android κινητά ειδικά με αυτά τα λεφτά .
Έχει πολύ ωραία ηχεία καθαρός δυνατός/μπασάτος ήχος και στις κλήσεις, ακούγομαι πολύ καθαρά .
Και το ποίο βασικό είναι πολύ γρήγορο δεν κολλάει καθόλου.
ΜΕΙΟΝΕΚΤΉΜΑΤΑ:
Από την πρώτη εντύπωση πίστευα ότι η κάμερες είναι πολύ χάλια , στην πραγματικότητα πρέπει απλά να μπείτε στις ρυθμίσεις και να βάλετε υψηλή ποιότητα φωτογραφίας , από το κουτί έχει το τικ στο μέτριες για κάποιο λόγο . Μετά από αυτό η φωτογραφίες έγιναν φανερά καλύτερες , αν και για 330€ περίμενα να είναι ποιο καλές θα έβαζα στης φωτοικανότητές του 3.5/5 . Βίντεο 3/5
Από τα αρνητικά οι μπαταρία δεν μου φτάνει για όλοι την μέρα.
Αν και έχει γρήγορη φόρτιση 67W δεν έχει ανταπτορα μόνο καλώδιο στο κουτί. Προσωρινά το φωτίζω με 33w και μπορώ να πως φορτίζει αρκετά γρήγορα.
Τώρα για το λογισμικό, μου είναι λίγο δύσκολο να το συνηθίσω μετά από μια εμπειρία 5 χρονών στο MIUI , πολλά πράγματα που υπήρχαν έχει λείπουν εδώ. Επίσης οι ρυθμίσεις είναι πιο περίπλοκες και για να βρω κάτι κάθε φορά λύνω γρίφους.
Λοιπόν πέρασαν 2 μήνες έχω να πω ότι η μπαταρία είναι πολύ χάλια δεν κρατάει καθόλου, δεν βγάζω ούτε 1 μέρα. Επίσης οι βίντεο ικανότητες του είναι πολύ χαμηλές η κάμερα είναι χειρότερη από το Redmi Note 10 S . Η εφαρμογή κάμερα κολλάει, μόλις μπω φριζάρει , σαν να πέφτουν τα fps . Επίσης ένα πολύ σπαστικό πραρμα δεν μπορείς να καθαρίσεις την μνήμη ΡΑΜ όπως σε άλλα κινητά Xiaomi ή Samsung με αποτέλεσμα μετά από κάτι μέρες ανάλογα τη χρήση η ραμ φτάνει το 10.99/12 και ξεκινάει να κολλάει, για να την καθαρίσεις πρέπει απλά να κάνεις επανεκκίνηση πάλι καλά την κάνει γρήγορα αλλά απίστευτα σπαστικό ΕΝΑ ΚΟΥΜΠΆΚΙ ΕΊΝΑΙ ΡΕ ΠΑΙΔΙΆ ΤΟ RAM CLEAN έλεος!!! Γενικά σαν κινητό δεν κολλάει πετάει (αν καθαρίζεις την Ραμ κάθε 3/4 μέρες όπως κάθε Android smartphone) . Ξανασκεφτοντας το θα βάζα 2.5 αστέρια γιατί η μπαταρία είναι πολύ χάλια και η ποιότητα βίντεο επίσης. Τώρα το λογισμικό είναι καθαρά θέμα γούστου. Το μεγαλύτερο πλονέκτημά είναι η ομορφιά του και οι οθόνη 10/10

1 Η μπαταρία είναι μικρή 4310 mA η και η διαχείριση της πιστεύω θα μπορούσε να είναι ακόμα καλύτερη σύμφωνα με τα πρότυπα ασφαλής φόρτισης δηλαδή μέχρι 80% και 20% το ξαναβαζεις για φόρτιση για την μέγιστη υγεία μπαταρίας. Αν το φορτίσεις το βράδυ φτάσει 80 % και το βγάλεις το πρωί θα χεις 75% και μετά από λίγο θα παρατήρησεις να πέφτει στο 70% με μέτρια προς βαριά χρήση η μπαταρία πέφτει αισθητά. Αλλά αν το φορτίσεις 100% νιώθεις μεγαλύτερη ασφάλεια
2 Παρόλο που είναι γρήγορο έχει κάτι ψιλό κολλήματα και μπαγκ και η εφαρμογή της κάμερας κολλάει είναι ανεπίτρεπτο μια φορά freezare ολόκληρο μπορεί να έτυχε αλλά αυτό σημαίνει ότι το ui της Motorola θέλει λίγο ακόμα δουλειά ή το android

The first two weeks and it looks very good.
I was particularly surprised by the camera, which while reading online is the least good part of it, takes very good photos, especially in low light! Specifically, it seems to do some automatic post-processing to make the photos brighter and sharper immediately after you take them. The telephoto lens allows for 3× optical zoom and more beautiful portraits. (The photos it takes are not as clear compared to the regular one.) And the macro lens is very good. You can take detailed photos from very close up.
What really annoys me A LOT is that when you open the camera, it sets the brightness to max!! I've seen this on many phones, the others let me disable this feature. I understand the logic if you are taking photos during the day, but at night it just blinds you!
Another thing that annoys me is that while it generally runs Android which is very close to stock and you can disable the additional apps that Motorola has added, every few days, it bothers me trying to pitch some feature or app that is clearly useless.
For example, while I had disabled all Motorola apps, today it had a pinned message on the lock screen telling me to enable "stories" on the lock screen!! To remove it, I had to enable them, complete the tutorial, so that I could then disable them! And I saw that a new Motorola app called "Live Lock Screen" had downloaded by itself.
Despite these small annoyances, however, the device seems generally very good.
The battery is amazing. It easily lasts a day, even though I use it A LOT, and I always have apps running in the background. Often, it lasts even two days!
What I am waiting to see is if it overheats in hot weather, like my previous phone, Pixel 6a. However, I will be able to see this in the summer. I will update the review then!
Πρώτες δύο εβδομάδες και φαίνεται πολύ καλό.
Με εξέπληξε ιδιαίτερα η κάμερα, που ενώ διαβάζει online είναι το λιγότερο καλό τμήμα του, βγάζει πολύ καλές φωτογραφίες, ειδικά σε low light! Συγκεκριμένα, φαίνεται να κάνει κάποιο αυτόματο post processing για να κάνει τις φωτογραφίες πιο φωτεινές και πιο sharp αμέσως αφού τις πάρεις. Ο φακός telephoto δίνει τη δυνατότητα για 3× οπτικό zoom και πιο όμορφα πορτρέτα. (Δεν είναι το ίδιο καθαρές οι φωτογραφίες που βγάζει σε σχέση με τον κανονικό.) Και ο macro φακός είναι πολύ καλός. Μπορείς να βγάζεις λεπτομερείς φωτογραφίες από πολύ κοντά.
Αυτό που μου τη σπάει ΠΑΡΑ ΠΟΛΥ είναι ότι, όταν ανοίγεις την κάμερα, πάει τη φωτεινότητα στο max!! Αυτό το έχω δει σε πολλά κινητά τα άλλα με άφηναν να απενεργοποιήσω αυτή τη λειτουργία. Καταλαβαίνω τη λογική αν παίρνεις φωτογραφίες την ημέρα, αλλά τη νύχτα απλά σε στραβώνει!
Κάτι άλλο που μου της πάει είναι ότι, ενώ σε γενικές γραμμές τρέχει Android που είναι πολύ κοντά στο stock και μπορείς να απενεργοποιήσεις τις επιπρόσθετες εφαρμογές που έχει βάλει η Motorola, κάθε λίγες μέρες, με ενοχλεί προσπαθώντας να μου πιτσάρει κάποιο feature ή εφαρμογή που είναι ξεκάθαρα άχρηστο.
Π.χ., ενώ είχα απενεργοποιήσει όλες τις εφαρμογές της Motorola, σήμερα μου είχε ένα μήνυμα καρφιτσωμένο στο lock screen που μου έλεγε να ενεργοποιήσω «stories» στο lock screen!! Για να φύγει, έπρεπε να τα ενεργοποιήσω, να ολοκληρώσω το tutorial, ώστε να μπορέσω μετά να τα απενεργοποιήσω! Και είδα ότι είχε κατέβει μόνη της μια νέα εφαρμογή Μοτορόλα που λέγεται «Live Lock Screen».
Παρά αυτές τις μικρές ενοχλήσεις, όμως, η συσκευή φαίνεται γενικά πολύ καλή.
Η μπαταρία φοβερή. Άνετα βγάζει μία μέρα, παρά το ότι το χρησιμοποιώ ΠΟΛΥ, και έχω συνέχεια στο background να τρέχουνε εφαρμογές. Συχνά, βγάζει και δύο μέρες!
Αυτό που αναμένετε να δω είναι αν υπερθερμαίνεται σε ζεστό καιρό, όπως το προηγούμενό μου τηλέφωνο, Pixel 6a. Αυτό, όμως, θα μπορέσω να το δω το καλοκαίρι. Θα αναβαθμίσω τότε το review!
I was justified in my choice to leave the Samsung A52 and try the Motorola. Super screen, very good software, smart features from Motorola, normal battery - comfortably lasts a day. Signal is definitely better than the previous phone. I've had it for two months and I'm 100% satisfied. If I could say something I'm not completely satisfied with, it's the default camera setting, which is excellent. If you go into professional mode, you can easily solve the issue with a simple ISO adjustment. I would comfortably buy it again.
Δικαιώθηκα με την επιλογή να αφήσω το Samsung A52 και να δοκιμάσω τη Motorola. Σούπερ οθόνη, πολύ καλό λογισμικό, έξυπνες λειτουργίες της Motorola, κανονική μπαταρία- άνετα μέρα. Σήμα σίγουρα καλύτερο από το προηγούμενο κινητό. Το έχω δύο μήνες και είμαι 100% ευχαριστημένος. Αν θα μπορούσα να πω κάτι που δεν είμαι απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος είναι η default ρύθμιση της κάμερας, η οποία είναι εξαιρετική. Αν μπεις στην επαγγελματική λειτουργία, με απλή ρύθμιση του ISO το λύνεις το θέμα. Το ξαναγόραζα άνετα.

Just a glance at the features and you realize that it lacks nothing, not only in its category but generally in all categories. Quality in hand, lightweight, although waterproof and durable, compact dimensions without missing out on inches. Finally, a Motorola edge without an edge display, for those who prefer flat screens. The processor doesn’t seem to struggle anywhere, except perhaps with very heavy games, which I haven't tried, while after about 2 weeks of use, it now manages energy very well. In my usage pattern, it even lasts up to 3 days with the battery at 76% remaining (it will likely be less, but still). If I wanted something more, it would be an infrared port (which unfortunately only Xiaomi has now) and maybe a 3.5mm headphone jack (which even Xiaomi is now eliminating). It was purchased for €370 on the first day almost with VAT exemption and it truly deserves it. Logically, its price will drop further, which in my opinion makes it a bargain and VFM.
Μια ματιά μόνο στα χαρακτηριστικά και αντιλαμβάνεσαι ότι δεν του λείπει τίποτα, όχι μόνο στην κατηγορία του, αλλά γενικά σε όλες τις κατηγορίες. Ποιοτικό στο χέρι, ελαφρύ, αν και αδιάβροχο και ανθεκτικό, μαζεμένες διαστάσεις χωρίς να του λείπουν οι ίντσες. Επιτέλους ένα Motorola edge χωρίς edge οθόνη, για όσους προτιμούν τις επίπεδες οθόνες. ΄Ο επεξεργαστής δεν δείχνει να ζορίζεται πουθενά, εκτός ίσως από πολύ βαριά παιχνίδια, τα οποία όμως δεν έχω δοκιμάσει, ενώ μετά από 2 εβδομάδες περίπου χρήσης πλέον κάνει πολύ καλή διαχείριση ενέργειας. Στο δικό μου μοτίβο χρήσης του κινητού βγάζει ακόμα και 3 μέρες υπολειπόμενο με μπαταρία στο 76% (λογικά θα είναι λιγότερο, αλλά και πάλι). Αν ήθελα κάτι παραπάνω είναι μια θύρα υπερύθρων (που μόνο τα Xiaomi έχουν πλέον δυστυχώς) και ίσως θύρα ακουστικών 3.5mm (που πλέον ακόμα και τα Xiaomi την καταργούν). Αγοράστηκε στα 370€ την πρώτη μέρα σχεδόν με απαλλαγή ΦΠΑ και πραγματικά τα αξίζει. Λογικά θα πέσει κι άλλο η τιμή του πράγμα που κατά τη γνώμη μου το καθιστά κελεπούρι και VFM.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo Review: A "hidden" gem at €200
After full use and upgrade to Android 16, the experience with the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is simply impressive for its price range. I love it for the value-for-money it offers, as it does things you find in much more expensive devices.
The Positives (Value €350+ in a €200 body)
Screen: Simply an amazing screen. Colors, brightness, and clarity you wouldn't expect in this category.
User Experience (Smoothness): The UI is extremely clean (almost stock Android), offering a very smooth flow almost everywhere.
Cameras: Very honest in all scenarios. They don't disappoint in low light or difficult shots, delivering realistic results.
Sound: This was a surprise. The earpiece and speakers are on par – if not better – than the iPhone 16 Pro I had before. Truly crystal-clear sound.
Battery & Charging: Despite its small size "on paper," in practice it is excellent. The highlight? Even if you forget to charge it, a 10-minute plug-in gives it enough to comfortably last the rest of the day.
The Negatives (Cold approach)
Background Apps: The system is a bit aggressive with memory management and closes background apps more often than it should.
Minor stutters: There are some occasional stutters here and there, mainly in demanding transitions, but nothing that ruins the overall picture.
Display Uniformity: On a pure white background, I notice some subtle shadows on the screen. It may be a defect of my device and not a general issue with the model.
Summary
For the €200 I paid, the negatives are almost non-existent. Its positives correspond to a phone worth €350-400. If you are looking for a device that does everything right without emptying your pocket, the Edge 50 Neo is the only way to go

Μετά από πλήρη χρήση και αναβάθμιση σε Android 16, η εμπειρία με το Motorola Edge 50 Neo είναι απλά εντυπωσιακή για τα δεδομένα της τιμής του. Το αγαπάω για το value-for-money που προσφέρει, καθώς κάνει πράγματα που βρίσκεις σε πολύ ακριβότερες συσκευές.
Τα Θετικά (Value 350€+ σε σώμα των 200€)
Οθόνη: Απλά «οθονάρα». Χρώματα, φωτεινότητα και ευκρίνεια που δεν περιμένεις σε αυτή την κατηγορία.
Εμπειρία Χρήσης (Smoothness): Το UI είναι εξαιρετικά καθαρό (σχεδόν stock Android), προσφέροντας μια πολύ smooth ροή σχεδόν παντού.
Κάμερες: Πολύ τίμιες σε όλα τα σενάρια. Δεν απογοητεύουν ούτε σε χαμηλό φωτισμό ούτε σε δύσκολα πλάνα, προσφέροντας ρεαλιστικά αποτελέσματα.
Ήχος: Εδώ έγινε η έκπληξη. Το ακουστικό και τα ηχεία του είναι ισάξια –αν όχι καλύτερα– από το iPhone 16 Pro που είχα πριν. Πραγματικά κρυστάλλινος ήχος.
Μπαταρία & Φόρτιση: Παρά το μικρό της μέγεθος «στα χαρτιά», στην πράξη είναι εξαιρετική. Το highlight; Ακόμα και αν ξεχάσεις να το φορτίσεις, με ένα 10λεπτο στην πρίζα παίρνει όσο χρειάζεται για να βγάλεις άνετα την υπόλοιπη μέρα.
Τα Αρνητικά (Ψυχρή προσέγγιση)
Background Apps: Το σύστημα είναι λίγο επιθετικό με τη διαχείριση μνήμης και κλείνει τις εφαρμογές στο παρασκήνιο πιο συχνά από ό,τι θα έπρεπε.
Μικρο-κολλήματα: Υπάρχουν κάποια σκόρπια stutters εδώ και εκεί, κυρίως σε απαιτητικά transitions, αλλά τίποτα που να χαλάει τη συνολική εικόνα.
Display Uniformity: Σε καθαρό λευκό φόντο παρατηρώ κάποιες ανεπαίσθητες σκιές στην οθόνη. Ενδέχεται να είναι defect της δικής μου συσκευής και όχι γενικό πρόβλημα του μοντέλου.
Σύνοψη
Για τα 200 ευρώ που το πήρα, τα αρνητικά είναι σαν να μην υπάρχουν. Τα θετικά του αντιστοιχούν σε κινητό των 350-400 ευρώ. Αν ψάχνετε μια συσκευή που να τα κάνει όλα σωστά χωρίς να αδειάσει την τσέπη σας, το Edge 50 Neo είναι μονόδρομος
A hidden gem for anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune... compact screen of excellent quality, waterproof, wireless charging and fast wired charging at 68w! My main phone is the s25 ultra and I got this as a second one on offer for 199 euros and I feel like I robbed a church. Many Motorola devices are truly worthy and I wonder why there are various rumors!!
Ένας κρυμμένος θησαυρός για όποιον δε θέλει να ξοδέψει μια περιουσία...compact οθόνη εξαιρετικής ποιότητας,αδιάβροχο,ασύρματη φόρτιση και γρήγορη ενσύρματη φόρτιση στα 68w!
Κύριο μου κινητό είναι το s25 ultra και πήρα αυτό για δεύτερο σε προσφορά στα 199 ευρώ και νιώθω σα να έκλεψα εκκλησία.
Πάρα πολλές συσκευές της motorola είναι πραγματικά αξιολογεςκαι απορώ γιατί ακούγονται διάφορα!!
Some people mention the screen as a positive, saying it's ok, but since my previous phone was the Edge 30 Neo from 2022, the old model clearly has higher brightness and color contrast. Other than that, at the 200€ price you can find it now, it's a good choice for someone who wants a "small" device, since there is no other in this size. On the very positive side, the main camera has a Sony sensor, the same as the much more expensive Edge 60 Pro, taking very good photos, and the battery, although small in capacity, easily lasts a day. Also, it's one of the few Motorola models that will (supposedly) get 5 Android updates and not 3 as usual. The slightly upgraded 60 NEO is also worth it at 260€, but it hasn't officially arrived in the country yet, if that means anything.
Κάποιοι αναφέρουν στα θετικά την οθόνη που ειναι οκ, αλλα επειδή το προηγούμενο κινητό μου ηταν το Εdge 30 Neo του 2022 , το παλιο μοντελο εχει ξεκάθαρα μεγαλύτερή φωτεινότητα και αντίθεση στα χρωματα περα απο αυτο στα 200Ε που το βρισκεις τωρα ειναι καλη επιλογη για καποιον που θελει "μικρη" συσκευή μιας και δεν υπαρχει αλλη σε αυτο το μεγεθος. Στα πολυ θετικα η βασικη καμερα εχει αισθητήρα της Σονυ ιδιο με το πολυ ακριβότερο edge 60 pro βγαζοντας πολυ καλες φωτο και η μπαταρια που αν και μικρη ονομαστικά βγαζει ανετα μερα, επισης ειναι απο τα λιγα μοντελα της Μοτορολα που θα παρει(?) 5 ενημερώσεις android και οχι 3 οπως συνήθως. Αξιζει και το ελαφρως αναβαθμισμένο 60 ΝΕΟ με 260Ε αλλα δεν εχει εχει ερθει επίσημα στην χωρα αν σημαίνει κατι αυτο .
I have had it since July 2025. Before that, I had the Huawei nova 5t, a relatively small phone with a 6.26 screen, and I dropped it from my motorcycle after 6 years and it broke. I wanted to go back to something similar in size. I think I made the best possible choice. 512GB memory with stereo sound, good cameras that compete with phones of at least 500 euros, its battery easily lasts a day with heavy use, calls, and quite a bit of social media, and the good thing is that it charges in about 40 minutes. It hasn't frozen on me at all and everything is ok so far.
το έχω από τον Ιούλιο του 2025.ειχα ποιο πριν το Huawei nova 5t σχετικά μικρό κινητό 6.26 οθόνη κ μου έπεσε από την μηχανή μετά από 6 χρόνια και εσπασε.ηθελα να ξαναπάω σε κατι ανάλογα σε μέγεθος.νομιζω έκανα την καλύτερη δυνατή επιλογή.512gb μνήμη με στερεοφωνικό ήχο καλές κάμερες ανταγωνίζονται κινητά τουλάχιστον 500 ευρώ η μπαταρία του κρατάει άνετα μια μέρα με πολύ χρήση ομιλίας κ αρκετά social media κ το καλό είναι ότι φορτίζει σε 40 λεπτά περίπου. δεν μου έχει κάνει κανένα κόλλημα κ όλα είναι μέχρι τώρα οκ.
