Although it is considered an entry-level single malt whiskey, it is one of my favorites. For me, it is the value-for-money single malt that I always have at home. Generally, I like whiskeys that are sweet. I am not a fan of smoky ones. The Dalwhinnie 15 is smooth, easy to drink, with fruity characteristics and a light finish of heather honey and vanilla. If you don't like smoky whiskeys and prefer whiskeys that generally have a sweet aftertaste and quite rich aromas... give it a try.

It produces relatively pleasant aromas, but I would say the taste is mediocre, mainly reminiscent of citrus fruits. The alcohol is quite noticeable in the taste, which doesn't make it smooth like whiskey.

First taste is honey, at the end a slight smokiness. Very good price to quality & taste ratio.

A 15-year-old classic single malt that should be sold for about 30 euros more!
