The object locating process is simple and quick. After setting up the telescope, the smartphone is placed on the StarSense mount and the StarSense Explorer app follows. The app creates a list of visible celestial objects, guiding you through the viewing process on the screen.

The StarSense Explorer features technology pending patent approval and uses a Lost in Space algorithm for precise telescope positioning. Even in areas with light pollution, it can distinguish important celestial objects.
