See allThe overall impression is positive, with the clear picture and wide viewing angle frequently praised. Wi-Fi connectivity and the app allow live viewing from a mobile phone, while the sleek design and easy installation are also mentioned. However, several reviewers point out the lack of motion detection and notifications, as well as the fact that it does not record video.
Excellent digital peephole! The image on the screen is crystal clear, the wide 146° angle covers the entire hallway, and the Wi-Fi connection through the app works perfectly, so you can see who’s at the door even when you’re away. Very easy to install, worth the money! Definitely a big YES.
This is a fairly high-quality and aesthetically pleasing digital door viewer. Both its beautiful/minimal design and the very good image quality make it appear as a product several classes above others in its category (see YALE). The wide-angle camera is clear enough to accurately see who is outside, and it also has an app so you can watch live from your phone. The downside is that it does not have motion recording to notify you, so you have to be inside the house and someone has to ring the bell for you to check. Also, it does not record who rang your doorbell (there is a higher version for this, which I considered unnecessary). Its battery lasts quite a while, always depending on your usage, and as you can see from the photos I uploaded, from the outside it is hard for someone to realize it is digital!
I would gladly buy it again as it is a gadget that offers you discretion, so you can see who is outside your door, wherever you are inside the house, without them realizing you are home! This also gives you great security.
