The Hoya ProND EX 8 filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 3 stops. When shooting video outdoors, you can adjust the shutter speeds to match the frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field. For photography applications, the filter allows you to use longer exposures or achieve a shallow depth of field in bright sunlight.

The ProND EX 8 filter employs Hoya's ACCU-ND technology to prevent color shifts, ensuring consistent image quality. The ACCU-ND guarantees equal light reduction in both the visible and infrared spectrum, so you won't experience color changes while shooting in varying outdoor conditions.

The filter features threads on both the front and rear sides. Additional ND filters can be stacked on the front, or you can attach a threaded lens cap or another filter.
