The Aqua Pure Solution Silver water filter system is a dual filter housing designed for installation under the kitchen counter. It includes an Aqua Filter FCCBKDF2 three-stage filter and an Aqua Pure APCYL activated carbon filter, both compatible with 10" filter housings.

The FCCBKDF2 contains KDF, resin and coconut-shell activated carbon. KDF removes hydrogen sulfide, pesticides and iron, reduces lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury levels, and has bacteriostatic properties. The resin softens water through ion exchange, while the activated carbon helps improve its smell and taste by removing chlorine, pesticides and other chemical compounds. The APCYL is made from solid coconut-shell activated carbon and removes sediment, certain contaminants and cysts down to 0.5 microns, while reducing the concentration of metals such as lead, copper and mercury. It is certified by NSF.
