The VO-W woofers are PA style and combine design elements from professional audio and high-tech car sound. With low moving mass and low inductance, they provide extremely fast transient response and high efficiency.
The woofers feature "c" revisions that enhance midbass low-frequency output, using longer voice coil windings and aluminum wire coated with copper. The new die-cast frame basket allows for larger diameter spiders, increasing the Xmax and widening the frequency range.
They also have large diameter voice coils, high-energy CNC motors, and cast frames, allowing simultaneous use with VO-CT compression tweeters and horns for coaxial applications.
