The halogen light source in the handle becomes the tip of the blade through a very large fiber optic beam (outer Ø 5.0 mm) to produce a cool light, brighter illumination.

The fibers can be easily removed during sterilization procedures to prevent damage and ensure a longer lifespan for the unit.
