Sterile, individually packaged disposable vaseline gauzes, without active ingredients, for wound dressing.

The vaseline gauze consists of a material that is impregnated with white vaseline (water-repellent and non-sensitizing). Thanks to the structure of the fiber mesh, the gauze allows exudate to flow freely, while keeping the wound moist and preventing it from adhering to the wound. This allows for a non-traumatic dressing change, which means less pain for the patient.

Composition:

• Viscose
• Polyester
• Vaseline (Vaselinum album according to Ph. Eur.)

Contraindications:

• Risk of adhesion in wounds without exudate formation.
• Should not be used on deep wounds with cracks, wounds with cavity/pocket formation, undermined wounds, fistulas, and abscesses.
• Gauzes should not be placed one on top of the other.
• A secondary suction cover is required.
