Stylish and beautiful with the right functions!

Having had it for over 6 months now, I have to say it's no coincidence that the Americans kicked them out of their market. The battery is indescribable (I forget to charge it for 15 days), the screen is very nice in terms of brightness and resistance to impacts, the menu is quite user-friendly, it records many parameters, and if you want, there is also their app where you can pay if you want and create a program to help you achieve a goal. Their app is downloaded separately from their own store but once you install it, it updates normally. The only thing I don't know why it happens: if you answer a call from your phone and then want to switch it to the watch, it doesn't do it. I haven't looked into why though. Finally, I have to say that if you answer the call, it has a pretty good microphone and speaker for a watch. Compared to two separate Samsung models that my wife and father have, it has nothing to envy. On the contrary, those have a lot to envy from this one

5 months after purchase, its screen burned out.
I sent it to the authorized Huawei service in Athens, they replaced the screen and within 10 days I got it back.
I don't feel it's reliable anymore and I'm waiting to see how long it will last.
Other than that, it has a beautiful design and many features. The only thing it's missing is the ability to pay with it.

I bought it on Black Friday when it was on offer, excellent in everything, very beautiful and high quality. I mainly got it for running and walking but I wear it all day, excellent GPS dual band with great accuracy, it connects everywhere immediately, no issues with iPhone, you can talk normally if you want and hear perfectly, and the app has everything. Battery lasts at least ten days with 3 workouts with GPS on per week. I was also looking at Garmin but to have what the GT AMOLED series offers—good battery and dual band GPS—you pay double the price and still won't get anything more. I highly recommend it, especially for those who want it for sports!

Everything perfect, beautiful watch with notifications for everything, reply with keyboard but also ready-made replies for every Viber messenger message, quality call from the watch, bright screen. What bothered me a little is the sensitivity of the metal part to marks. I touched it once, didn't hit it, just touched it to a wall and it immediately got a scratch mark. Put a protective case on it as soon as you get it. Battery: I've had it for 2 days, used it quite a lot and it's at 90% with everything on. I'm satisfied with all its functions.

Something else that bothered me a bit is that you can't remove sports from its list, you can add but it doesn't allow you to remove, resulting in the list filling up and you have to go with what it has. What's the point of having 170 sports when I can only use a few of them. I consider it an operating system flaw that might be fixed with an upgrade.

Very nice and durable smartwatch with a 10-day battery life, but unfortunately with iPhone it doesn't have perfect synchronization with all apps. Of course, as a GT2 owner, it is better in some apps.

Coming from the gt2pro I have to say that the upgrade is very significant. For battery, beauty, weight, there is no comparison. One of the best in its category.
After about two months of use, the step measurements are incorrect as compared to other watches it shows at least 3000 more than the actual number, unfortunately.

Very poor measurements regarding steps and standing time. Also, its heart rate monitor is terrible. Connectivity with iPhone is below average.

While it has many features, I'm not sure the measurements are 100% accurate and the worst part is that when I get a call and try to answer it from the watch, the call immediately goes only to the phone. I took it to the store where I bought it, they tried it on another device and there was no problem. They told me that probably my device is not compatible. If that's the case, I'm out of luck. When you buy it, make sure to tell them exactly the brand and model of your device to see if it is compatible, so you don't have the same problem as I did.

After 5 months and after an update, the touch screen stopped working.
Update 20/9/2025 After 2 weeks of service, I am changing the rating after this unpleasant experience to 4 stars because the watch was replaced with a new one.

Coming from the Huawei GT Sport, the GT 5 is quite improved in appearance and features. Very good smartwatch, flawless connectivity. Worth its money.

While at first I was excited with the watch, I notice that when a phone call comes in and I answer it on the watch, for some strange reason the call goes to the phone (Google Pixel 6). Also, in workout/open water mode, the watch's GPS is simply terrible, showing that I have swum 3.5km when I am only at 2km, and that's because I have measured it repeatedly with other watches. In outdoor bike mode, it seems to work ok

Excellent, like the entire GT series released by the company. It was purchased to replace the first GT about 5 years ago, if I remember correctly. I wore it day and night at my job, it withstood bumps, water, humidity, etc., and I was satisfied, so since the old one reached the end, I chose the GT Huawei series again without hesitation. Updated menu and very lightweight watch, comfortable and very beautiful

Coming from the GT2, it's like night and day, you can feel the build quality, it's lightweight, it connected immediately to the phone as soon as it turned on, very good screen and very good touch. The strap is very comfortable and does not bother at all during the day, I put an extra glass on it for my own safety even though it seems durable. Battery lasted a whole day with everything enabled and me constantly fiddling with it, it only dropped 3%. They also give you 3 months free of Huawei's full suite, which is quite impressive considering the features it offers. I would say typical Huawei reliability to sum up.

I spoke with Huawei's customer service center and they are asking me for 110 euros for replacement, not including labor costs. Very disappointing because the new watch now costs 200... for its price it is a one-way street. What bothers me is its vibration... with notifications you might not notice some, unfortunately it has two settings but neither is strong. everything else is vfm. coming from a galaxy watch 46mm I would buy it again.

The watch is beautiful and quite convenient, however, it doesn't sync well with the iPhone unfortunately. Everything mentioned by previous buyers is true. You lose many features if you try to connect it with an iPhone, and unfortunately, for this reason, you are forced to use only the basic functions of the watch.

This particular watch, based on its functions and build quality, comfortably competes with more expensive models. It looks beautiful on the wrist with casual attire, but even with a suit, it has an endless battery life with the measurements open, charges quickly, and is lightweight and comfortable on the wrist with a fairly quality strap that does not irritate the skin. The only negative I found is that due to the sanctions on Huawei, the NFC for contactless payments does not work.

Perfect in every way and beautiful, measurements connectivity screen calls with quality messages and with everything open battery lasts about 8 days with five times a week running about 20 kilometers.

They gifted it to me along with the headphones, it's simply perfect! The battery with considerable use of the watch, running, calls from the watch, lasts up to 10 days!! It's also a wonderful piece of jewelry!!

The only negative for me is the disconnection over 13 meters between 3-4 walls. With the GT2 (large), you reach the heavens without disconnection. I have 3 HUAWEI watches and only choose HUAWEI.

Beautiful watch with a wonderful strap, where you can change and place any strap you desire. But that's it... its measurements are not accurate. Neither for heart rate, nor for steps and distance. I have woken up and am sitting at my desk. I have gone to the bathroom and to the kitchen, and it shows that I have taken 588 steps. When???? (Note I wasn't wearing it since the night). I have compared it with friends' watches with Garmin and Apple Watch 10, and while those 2 watches had the same measurements, the GT 5 had tremendous losses. I do not recommend it for someone who is interested in measurements.
