The Axagon ADM2-CM enclosure connects an M.2 SSD (NVMe or SATA) to a computer or mobile device via USB-C. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface supports data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s, while the integrated USB-C cable is 10 cm long. The enclosure supports UASP, TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. drive health monitoring.

The slot accepts single- or double-sided drives with an M or B+M key, with no capacity or length restrictions. The design allows heat to dissipate from the drive. Hot Plug and Plug and Play are also supported, as is booting a system from an SSD in the external enclosure.
