After rejecting proposals to commission the writing of a book about his life and career from others or to publish a dozen interviews with his face on the cover, Dave Grohl confesses his memories, from the drum set made of dirty pillows in his childhood bedroom in North Springfield to his involvement with Nirvana and the creation of the Foo Fighters, jamming with Iggy Pop and encounters with the pantheon of the rock scene.
