To solve the puzzle, you must rotate the cheese pieces so that they all point to the mouse's head. The cheese pieces move by rolling. If there is enough free space next to the cheese, you can rotate it, leaving the square it was on and rolling to an adjacent, free square. The large piece of cheese can be moved to one or two adjacent squares. By moving a piece of cheese, the player gains the ability to move other pieces.
The game contains fifty challenges, which are arranged from the easiest to the most difficult. Each challenge lists the minimum number of moves required to solve it. The booklet contains a complete solution for each challenge.
