Musical Emblem
The emblem consists of the lyre (chelys), which was the quintessential national musical instrument of ancient Greece and the most widely known string instrument. It is framed by two laurel branches, a symbol of the presence of Military Musicians in their essential role of preserving national identity and uplifting the morale of the fighting units.
