The X-Sense XS01 standalone smoke detector uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke particles and is sensitive to slow-burning fires, such as those involving paper and wood. It emits an audible alarm of ≥85 dB at 3 m and flashes a red LED indicator when it detects danger.
The test function checks that the detector is working, while the silence function temporarily deactivates the alarm. The LED indicators also show the operating status, low battery level, and any faults. The CR123A lithium battery is non-replaceable and has a 10-year service life.
