The Hoya PROND EX ND8 filter is a neutral density filter that controls the amount of light passing through the lens. It allows you to reduce the shutter speed or use a wider aperture in bright conditions. It is also suitable for video, helping you adjust the shutter speed to the frame rate.
It is made of clear optical glass and housed in a lightweight aluminum frame with a front thread for attaching an additional filter or lens cap. ACCU-ND technology reduces light equally across the visible and infrared spectrums, helping to minimize color shifts.
