The Lindy 38341 transmitter extends HDMI signal transmission over Cat.6 cable when used with a compatible Lindy HDBaseT receiver. It supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz and transmission distances of up to 70 m at this resolution or up to 100 m at 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz. It transmits HDMI audio and supports ARC, HDR, infrared control, CEC, and bidirectional RS-232 and Ethernet communication.
PoC allows the receiver to be powered via the Cat.6 cable, so a power supply is required only for the transmitter. The audio outputs allow audio extraction, while digital audio embedding on the receiver side can be controlled using the button on the main unit.
