K2 Plastic Welding plastic adhesive is suitable for bonding most plastics and polymers, as well as metals, ceramics, porcelain, fiberglass, glass and wood. Its methacrylate technology creates a permanent bond and allows plastic to be bonded to metal, but the adhesive does not bond polyethylene or polypropylene.
Bonding begins in 4 minutes. Bonded objects can be moved after 15 minutes, and the bond reaches full strength in 1 hour. After 24 hours, it withstands pressure of 238 atmospheres (246 kg/cm²), is waterproof and fills small gaps. Its temperature resistance ranges from -40 °C to +93 °C. Curing takes longer at temperatures below +13 °C.
